We are an Denali Extreme Moose Tracks family, but I just went to their website and they have 30 flavors! The Chocolate Moose Tracks has peanut butter cups in it! As soon as I leave work, I am headed to my grocery store and DEMAND they stock it. And the Andes Mint one, too. I feel like we have purposely been denied these…

I absolutely LOVE hearing these supportive partner posts!! My husband is wonderfully supportive. I don't know what I would do with out him!

I wash and blow dry my hair Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The rest of the week, I use a spray on dry shampoo. Tuesday and Thursday is my strength training day, so I don't typically sweat as much. On those days, I typically wear my hair up for the office: low side braid, sock bun, or fancy pony tail.

My alarm goes off every morning at 5:09am and I lay in bed for 10 minutes trying to talk myself out of bed. You know what works? I ALWAYS feel better after I work out. I know I do and so that is my motivation to get out of bed. Like the others, I have my clothes, water and ear buds ready to go the night before. On the…

You look amazing! Love the visual proof that lifting is key!

After being on the internet/message boards for well over a decade, I've realized that I can easily avoid the posts and threads that I am not all that interested in. I have bypassed the eye candy threads (actually most of Chit Chat), but I DO hit the Success Stories every day. These people inspire me. And as far as…

I usually do beef chuck/English roasts, but I think they all shred because they get very tender in the crock (the longer they cook, the more tender they become). I usually cut a large chunk out of the crock, put it on a plate and the cut in smaller chunks. Whether or not your hubby should be stabbing it with a trident (…

Congrats, Grandma, to you and your daughter. My identical twin boys are nearly 8 and I feel so blessed.

I would just stop at the first three ingredients. No need to waste good vodka on chicken wings! :drinker:

Yep. Crying at my desk. Your boys love you, you can do this!

That REALLY is the best (and easiest) roast recipe out there. I use the low sodium brown gravy, zesty italian, and spicy ranch, because I like a little kick. I try to make a big roast when I do this, because there is so much to be done with the left overs for the next night by shredding the left over meat, skimming some of…

The favorite dish I make for the family, hands down, is Pizza Pasta 8-10 oz Elbow macaroni, cooked (I would use more, but the kids like this to be a "wet" casserole) 2 jars pizza sauce 1/2 package sliced pepperoni (cut in half) 2 cups mozzarella Mix first three ingredients in a casserole dish, top with cheese and bake for…

I would have taken these off your hands! The darker the better for me. Let one melt on my tongue and follow it with a nice Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. Now THAT is a treat!

About the pre-logging, I wasn't doing it at first, but when I read about it, I thought I would give it a try. It really helps me see where I can add (or subtract) calories at a snack or dinner time. It also helps me see where I need to adjust what I'm eating to meet my macros. Dinner with friends Saturday was a blast. She…

I weigh 5lbs less than I did at Christmas. Since, I've started pre-logging my food and measuring everything, I've noticed a real difference. The resistance level on my elliptical is up and so I've been feeling real good about my work outs. Tomorrow, I'll start using light hand weights while Ii'm on the elliptical to start…

MFP says I should eat less than 1400 calories a day if I want to lose 1lb/per week. I'm in the process of trying to add to breakfast calories while subtracting from my dinner. I do typically eat back my exercise calories and I rarely log additional activities (walking, chasing kids, etc). My breakfast is typically two cups…

I wake up at 5am and do 30 minutes on the elliptical. There are some mornings that I lay in bed for 5 minutes trying to talk myself into getting out of bed, but in the end, I do get up. I find that I feel so much better after I have worked out. It helps that I prepare everything the night before. My workout clothes are…

Hello All! I'm a 39 year old mother of three, 9 year old daughter and twin 7 year old boys, and I work full time in a desk job at a transformer production plant. I was at what I thought a pretty decent weight when I met my now husband. Since I was a single mom before that, I was too busy to eat (much less eat healthy).…
