Facebook, of all places. We had a mutual friend that we would both comment on her stuff. He friend requested me and after I checked with the friend to make sure he was cool, I accepted. I was in a committed relationship at the time, so nothing came of it. But after I became single, he was one of my only friends to not…

The chocolate lasagna is in my MFP diary quite a few times. Had to change up the recipe to double up on the cheesecake-like layer though.

Petrichor is the scent of rain on dry earth, or the scent of dust after rain. The word is constructed from Greek, petros, meaning ‘stone’ + ichor, the fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology. It is defined as "the distinctive scent which accompanies the first rain after a long warm dry spell".

I haven't found a meat I didn't love. I also get protein from cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and powder. We've been having a lot of chicken and fish (salmon, ahi, mahi, tuna, and shrimp) for dinners.

Oh man! So the 1/2 pint of Ben and Jerry's Karma Sutra Core and the Nestle Crunch dipped drumstick I had last night was a "no no"? I don't want to live in a world without ice cream (or anything similar).

I've not been as strict in maintenance as I was when I was eating at a deficit. I will log everything, but vegetables. I'll log if I eat a baked potato, because that has to have butter and sour cream on it. But all my greens are not logged. It just depends on what you want to do and what you want to get out of this process.

When I did go to a gym, I was always the first person in the free weights area in the morning and would be ANNOYED that the plates are not put away properly. I guess my gym didn't care to reorganize at the end of the day. Now that I work out at home, my plates are perfectly lined up!

I can't share any recipes, since the only thing I toast is bread! :blushing: I will be making those bars soon, though!

You definitely should be warming up. But I don't know enough to comment on the knees. I hope someone here has the answer for you.

I lift in my bare feet, but I lift at home. I wore my regular sneakers when I went to the gym. I've been thinking of getting some Chuck's.

Everything about my life is open to my husband. That's how our relationship works. His previous two wives cheated on him, so if he felt he wanted to look into my phone or any of my social media, I would give him the password, if only to help him feel better. It's not been an issue, nor would I feel like it's a violation of…

Same here. I have nothing to hide from him, so he could have access to whatever he chooses.

Yay! Congrats! I'm still at what I call the "baby plates" on the bench and OHP. I can't wait to add the larger plates!

Y'all look amazing! Congratulations on your progress! Once I get settled in my move (this weekend is the last of moving), I'll have DH take some pics.

Lamb gyros with extra tzatziki sauce and a side of dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) is my order every time. NOMNOMNOM!

I love the wide grip lat pull downs. I do these as accessory work. And I think I'll be moving to the incline rows. Thank you!

Joining the hate club here. But I know how important they are. DAMN YOU ROWS! (shakes fists in air)

I lift at home bare foot. And it makes me happy. ETA: But I do wear thick socks on the elliptical.

Me, too! LOL!
