My favorite just before dinner is dried mangoes. They are sweet and chewy, just enough to keep me from tasting while I'm cooking.

Here is a tip to ensure you're getting 8-10 glasses of water each day. In the morning I fill a glass pitcher with 80 oz. of water for the whole day. I joined so I could learn more about nutrition and the balancing act of meeting those daily requirements. I love the way MFP adds in the exercise calories as you plan your foods for the day. I am planning more and making healthier choices at the grocery store.

I remember the day I decided to cut out sugar, so I say, "go for it." Now, I wouldn't add sugar to a thing, but it took some adjustment. I like to sprinkle a little cinnamon on cereal, fruit, etc. which helps. Good luck! It is worth the effort to your health! Keep us posted!:flowerforyou:

I have found a couple ounces of protein helps control hunger, especially after exercise. But, I get all the protein I need in whole wheat pasta/breads, dairy and cheese. So, don't think you need to go for quarter pound Angus burgers or buffalo (unless you plan to enter the next Olympics).

Healthy is beautiful, but bulky muscles are a little out of balance. Cut down on the weight you are lifting by 5 -10 pounds until you achieve the look you like.

Do you think you have a goal that is healthy for you? The goal to "do what is healthy for me" is so important. You want to loose weight and that is a good start.
