Let's face it. If our livers and kidneys were at peak performance, none of us would be on this site in the first place. Have you tried any form of cleanse ever?
-
ok we get it. cleansing does not work FOR YOU. no need to take your frustrations out on those of us it works for.
-
no darling. think of it as rebooting. Give your organs a little break and they will appreciate it by pushing out those toxins. Of course you shouldn't eat only apples if you are uncomfortable with it. IT may work well for some people though.
-
Disagree. Cleansing is by no means a new age idea. People have been doing it for ages. You are correct that the liver and kidneys remove toxins. That is a big job and it makes sense that even amazing organs like these could use a rest once in a while. So these cleanses (not the packaged pro pooping products but things such…

You are not the only one I read that burns 800 even 1000 calories in a workout. Curious what you are doing? I work my but off and still only burn 400-600calories. Love to get some ideas.

Try reading The Diet Cure. It has helped a lot of people in your situation. Good luck.
-
That was harsh.

I struggle with the same thing you are going through only not as intense once I discovered how good it feels to feed your body. Especially good fats. our brains are like 70% fat (I think). It was life changing for me to stop being afraid of fats, calories, and whole foods in general. I know it is scary and difficult to…

Well put. This could be a nice supportive site without the trollers.

nearly identical is not identical. It just seems clear to me that the rise in high fructose corn syrup consumption matches the rise in type 2 diabetes and obesity.
-
I believe that. I think they now use MSG to give test rats cancer so they can test cancer treatments on the rats. that's messed up.
-
Just checking.
-
Wow!
-
Really?
-
Hey now that's progress.

Tuna boats. Get some romaine hearts (the boats). Mix tuna with chopped parsley, diced red pepper and a little spicy dijon mustard and black pepper. Filled the boats and eat. Could add shredded cheese on top but not needed. I admit I originally made them for my son but I love them!

The original post said nothing that was "misinformation". Chin toning exercises sound like a great thing to complement the other lifestyle changes we are all making. Just seems like some people come on here to find stuff to prove wrong. Try being supportive. Such as "Those exercises sound great, but just don't forget that…

I appreciate your post. Thanks for sharing. See everyone, it's that easy to be supportive instead of always trying to prove everyone wrong.
-
I agree with you that it's not a one size fits all plan. Thank you for remembering that. Not everyone on this site has that in mind. Have you tried eggs in the morning. Lots of protein without the carbs. Nothing wrong with your shake, just an option.
-
Some people swear it constipates them. That doesn't sound fun. I use protein powder if I have had a big workout or if I am feeling peckish after dinner. Nothing like a "chocolate shake" to satisfy the munchies.

I disagree. That does not go for everyone. I have tried even 1/2 cup in the morning and I still have some kind of reaction that makes me hungrier than I would be normally. Hmmm. I wish I could be like you all and drink just one cup in the morning.
-
What about tea! Much better for you (I think) and you still get the buzz for your workout. Just an idea.
-
These guys are correct. You should not store it in the fridge. You should store it in the freezer.
-
I'll say it again. Biochemical individuality. You can't say it won't hurt you. You also can't say it will. You need to listen to your own body. We are all different. I love coffee. Can't drink it. Makes me strung out and depressed. When I drink tea (white or green) no problems.
-
We also learned how to build bombs and machines that eliminate the need for us do to practically any activity but breathe, sleep, and eat. Doesn't make it all right.
-
HOw to you know? Your not accomplishing anything is very closed minded. Try to be more supportive.
-
I betting on the wasabi you had last night. Is that something new for you. Can be harsh.
-
I would add a bit more fat. Even 30 grams might do it for you but more than that would be ok as long as you feel ok.
