Congratulations - only 3lbs to go:drinker: I use Libra too. It was great (if unrealistic) watching the red trend line saying that I reach my goal in June, then April this year; horrifying when it then went to 2015, 2022 then gave up on me I dont mind being accurate in Libra because only I see it. Funny how I mind it on…

Thanks for this. I use the Libra app on my phone to log daily weight. the red line is the trend and i am watching it go up and up and up...

Good point about being able to spot the correlation between gains and exercise & food.
-
You make a good point. Sadly I know exactly why my weight loss is increasing.

First of all congratulations on the 59lbs.:drinker: You make a good point about unearned Kudos; but sometimes it is justified because to get started and re-lose can be very very hard so every pat on the back is a blessing. Another good point you make is about re adjusting your calories. I never gave that a moments thought…

That might be a way to help. I don't mind recording fluctuations if its just a little bit of water retention because you know what is going on, plus my mantra is 'weight loss is not linear', but far too many times I know how badly I have eaten and the weight does stick for a week or more. thats when the head in the sand…

Kinda feels like head in the sand. I think I am having a debate with myself about facing when I am doing badly; would it help to face the bad times or is that reinforcing failure. I am not sure.

Just try eating 100 cals pre day more for 1 week. My stats are similar to yours except I am heavier. I used a website to accurately calculate my calories. I lost weight steadily and easily on 2300 per day and I am sedentary. But we are all brainwashed into thinking must eat less so I got cold feer and switched to the…

I started in Jan and had an amazing 3wks. I stuck to it reasonably well and lost 19lbs. Couple of family things got me out of my stride and I just dont seem to be able to stick to it so weight has gone babk on (thankfully not quite all. ) I am on yet another restt, so far so good this week. Can anyone tell me how you stick…

What diet regime are you following? I looked at your food diary you have eaten just over 300 on a couple of days and approaching 800 the remaining days. Keep doing that and for a couple of weeks the weight will drop off. Then you will stick for ages then start wondering why you start putting on weight the minute you try to…

Don't follow this advice please. The key words here are bariatric surgery. What this poster is not saying is that their sister will be on a lifetime cocktail of drugs to ensure she gets the nutrients that eating way under her daily TDEE inhibits. My personal advice is do more research. look up more accurate measures of…

Dr Varadys diet was featured in the Telegraph New Years weekend. The health benefits as well as weight loss instantly made me decide to try it. Because you only have to contend with one day's 'dieting' ata time it makes it easier. You can eat what you want on feast days. If you stick to the calorie count you lose weight at…

Yes I realise it will slow down, but what a great kick start to get and keep you motivated.

I am trying to stay with the allotted 2000 cals. I am finding it a struggle to eat quite that much consistently. In fact I went over twice at the very beginning - over eating because you are scared you will never get food again - but after that I am eating more veg which is filling and my stomach is shrinking so I am too…

On week 3 of Juddding and so far am loving it. I cant get over having had a healthy lunch, a healthy dinner and finishing that off with full fat trifle, chocolate brownie mudslide pie AND ice cream and I am still under my calories and I am still losing weight. I love food. Tomorrow I am fasting, but I won't feel deprived…

Week 1 - 10lb loss (I actually mis read my starting weight above!) Week 2 - 4lb loss so a stone in 2 weeks. I hope that I maintain at least 4lb a week for a couple of weeks more before I slow down but hey ho all loss is good.
-
I just thought I'd let you know that I stuck with it. Week 1 - 10lb loss Week 2 - 4lb loss Im happy with that. A few struggles to stay within my cals on DDS otherwise as STONE in a fortnight with pudding and cream every Up day. YAH this works for me.

Hi I have just completed my first week JUDDDing and have lost 8lbs. Not a big deal for me as my body always loses a ton in the first week. The real test for me is what happens at the end of this week. I am desperately looking for JUDDDing friends for info advice and support and to gain confidence from your sucesses. I am a…

Hi, Over the last 30 years I've tried numerous diets and always yo-yoed. I have just started on this way of eating. My 3rd DD and for the first time I am feeling hungry. Any tips etc on meals and sustaining it are welcome; especially how do you manage Sunday lunch or celebrations on DDs?
-
That is fantastic. Congratulations.

Your post has nudged me into remembering that I know my body best. I think phase 1 needs be get rid of the pounds I put back on this…

This is the closest environment to the park run. I am going to talk to my consultant about it.

You sweat with Tai Chi??? I just think of it as exercise that the elders do. Clearly not. I will add it to my list. Thank you for the suggestion.

That bike reminds me of the go-carts we used to have as kids fun fun fun, but sadly I have been advised not to cycle in a legs forward position.
-
If thats your bike, it reminds me of the go carts we used as kids (fantastic fun). Sadly I can't do the legs forward motion but thanks for the suggestion. I wish i could though.

You look great. Well done. The gazelle is a new one to me, I have added it to my list of machines to look at. Thank you

Amen to that. Hope your pain has eased. The bike option has joined my list of suggestions that I have taken from here. thank you
