GOMAD - Gallon of milk a day. Or... ice cream. Make some milkshakes maybe? Whole milk, ice cream, maybe throw in some whey protein. Also: peanut butter. And nuts.

Awesome work and dedication! Good stuff.

Also, MFP is just a general guideline based on averages of people your height/weight/age/sex. You may need to make some adjustments on your calorie intake based on results. However, given that you're at 1300 already - which is close to the recommended LOW minimum of 1200 for a female, if anything you should be adjusted UP…

You didn't put on all of your weight overnight, and you're not going to take it off overnight. Great work and loss so far. Keep up the great work!

You don't need to exercise to get on the right track. Your first step to weight loss is figuring out how many calories you need to maintain your current weight, and cut about 20% of them to create a deficit. Log and weigh every single thing you put in your mouth. The weight will come off. Exercise can help create an even…

When tracking your weight loss and fluctuations, figure out how it's trending overall. Weight fluctuations happen all the time for various reasons. For example, I'll weigh in my lightest in the morning, and throughout every day, it can fluctuate as much as 5-6 pounds. This is not "fat gained". That's impossible in that…

Very nice work!

Do whatever you want?

My exercise levels have been very minimal the last few weeks. I ride my bike at a moderate pace for about 3 miles every other day - which may account for some of the discrepancy. I have my activity level set to Lightly Active which I think is pretty accurate and adjusted my weight loss to -1LB per week to see if it will…

Yes, you should 100% invest in a digital scale. You are probably underestimating your actual calorie intake by quite a bit.

Are you the resident stand-up comedian?

I play mostly Dota 2, CS:GO, FFXIV (currently deactivated, however). Feel free to add me! Not so much into anime.

A 4 pound fluctuation is completely normal. Like an earlier poster said, I can step on the scale at X weight in the morning, and be X+5lbs by the evening. These fluctuations are normal. As everyone else said, you should seek professional help immediately.

Feel free to add me! Could use some support on this journey!

That's great to hear! Keep up the good work!

1) Find out what your maintenance calories are by trial and error. 2)Continue logging all of your foods - including your sweets (in moderation). 3) ?????? 4) Profit

I started my journey on 4/19/15 as well! Keep up the great work!

Great work! May this be the start of many more to come.

That's awesome! Congratulations on the hard work!

Can I piggy-back on what some of you said earlier in this thread about muscle gain while cutting? This has always confused me a bit. If I'm eating at a deficit, and accompany a program like P90x or T25 or Insanity or 5x5 or starting strength, or whatever else, what am I actually gaining during the cut - since it's very…

Log everything that you eat. Try to eat cleaner. Set your weight loss goals to 1-1.5pounds per week loss. If you eat clean like this and at a deficit, you will start seeing results, and likely feel way better physically from the good food that you're eating. Don't go completely crazy and let yourself have a treat when you…

I would highly suggest investing a scale. They're not too expensive nowadays. There's a very high chance that you're eating way more than you think (due to inaccuracies with guessing how much food you're eating).

Awesome! I'll have to toy with those suggestions and see if I find something that sticks and helps out with my macro goals. Thanks!

Most excellent! Thank you. I'll be sure to check out the community and youtube videos
