I yearn for accountability as well but we need to figure out a plan for how to make this work. I feel like I've been down this path before and then derail - stop checking status updates and community posts. My goal is to lose 50 lbs.

I'm starting today and will join you. It'll be a slow but positive journey.

Connect with the YOU in December 2016 and tell her that you will do your best to lose X? kg by then. Do this for YOU! I told my you that I will do my best to lose 40 lbs by the end of 2016. I turn 40 this year and even though my birthday is early in the year, I will save celebrations to the end.

Losing 70 lbs would be a dream but I'll settle for losing 40 lbs.

Hello from California. I will also add you. Started logging again today and would like to lose about the same this year.

Awe. I hope you will all also accept my friend request. I am on the same page and would love to lose 40 lbs this year. I'm also tired of this yo-yo and would love accountability with you all. I started logging food and exercise (again) today and will figure out how to make my diary public to friends (my shame tactic).

They say sitting is the new smoking. I remember when I was 135 and am trying to get there this year. If you don't mind, I will add you.

In the same boat and will aim to lose 40 lbs this year. I will try to figure out how to add you and then look into making my diary public. I just started entering again this morning.

Hi everyone. I'm starting my journey now, before Thanksgiving tomorrow. I've been through this a few times and just posted that I was looking for an accountability partner but I think this group will be great. I am 5'2" with a starting weight of 180 and would like to lose 50 lbs. Not even sure if that is realistic to do in…

I can really use the motivation as well and open to new friends. I've been on MFP before on/off but committed to loose 40-50lbs (in a year would be great).

I've been trying Tim Ferris's 4-hour body and it's been going well so far. He recommends eating the same things over and over again to keep it simple: eggs, vegetables, legumes, and meat. But he also recommends giving yourself one cheat day.
