I am not sure if it is safe to join in this late in the game...but I would like to join anyway. I will say that I am starting at 52 and would like to be around 42 by Halloween. And, I wanted to take a better look at those Bob Harper recipes you posted. They look good!! Happy Monday!

i agree!! i am also a single mom with 3 kids and a 1 hour commute each way. getting home at 630 every night with 3 kids that are screaming they are hungry and youre afraid they might eat YOU is no fun. i do a lot of pre-packaged foods and easy meals. we eat sandwiches a lot, i just work it in to my day. i know people…

i'd say this guy knows a thing or two... by the way, i have cheat days every week where i dont count calories at all for the day. i have noticed that if i dont do this, i wont show a loss for the week. weird, but it works...something about jump starting your metabolism... Good luck!!!

Thank you!!! I was not POOR when I had my 3 children...but I became that way when my youngest was 3 mths old and their father left us and moved to a different city. (and no, he does not pay child support) there are other contributing factors that people do not plan on when they "spit out" kids. Would I have another kid…

Do you think that most of these people don't have internet or internet access? It takes 5 minutes to get on google or pinterest and find loads of healthy, cheap recipes. I cant afford internet at home...and i dont have a computer either. what makes you think that "these people" would have internet access? i can only get on…

it is my dream to step on the scale on monday morning and have it show a 20 pound weight loss! LOL however, that really isn't how it works. a 3.5 loss is great! especially if you dont have a lot to lose. great job! keep it up :)

hello! i started a few years ago and then re-started last month. anyone can feel free to add me, i love to motivate. as far as protein, it is ok for you to go over a little and especially if you are doing heavy cardio that day. it is ok to go over on anything on occasion. the important thing to remember is this is a life…

i recently started over too. i lost over 50 pounds and gained it all back. would like to lose at least 100 also. good luck and feel free to add me

i use cottage cheese or salsa...sometimes avacado. gets your protein in and you don't need dressing.

i love my naps!!! i am up at 5:15 m-f for work and i am lucky if my kids let me sleep later than 6:30 on the weekends. they are still small so they take naps and i will be right there with them! i feel like i need it after chasing after them all day. i feel refreshed and can take on the rest of the day!

That looks so good! Thank you for sharing!!

hey there! feel free to add me. I have been a member here since 2011 and I too and starting over. I have been back about 20 days and have lost 15 pounds as of today! i will be a great motivator for you

according to my BMI-i should weigh between 98 and 115 pounds. anything about that is overweight and i think 140 is considered morbidly obese. I am only 4'11 but i have a big chest and think that at 98 pounds i would look very sick...not to mention the fact that i am still young and would probably get mistaken for my…

I have no comment on the energy bar argument because I don't eat them and don't care either way...just had to say WOW on your amazing weight loss!!! Congrats to you!! :)

I gave it up for lent this year. Really wanted one last week but couldn't bring myself to "break lent" so I just drank water and moved on. It was hard at first but I feel better when I am drinking water all day and not soda. I still have my coffee in the mornings so I don't have caffeine headaches but crave it…

Congrats on your success! Very inspiring :)

Congrats! You are doing a great job. Support and motivation is key for sure. Feel free to add me if you would like additional support. We seem to have similar goals and I am working in 20lb increments as well (instead of looking at that big number daily and getting discouraged)!
-
I am happy to hear that you signed up and are ready to get your life back on track. Congrats on your new marriage and being cancer free!!!! :) I honestly don't have any advice for you for exercise but if you need some more support, feel free to add me. Good luck on your journey's ahead!

i have been using dasani drops. they are one of the only brands that does not contain sodium which i like because drinking water with sodium in it seems to defeat the purpose. you can add a little or a lot depending on how strong you want it. I found it at walmart though...not sure if that is what you were trying to avoid…
