squat kicks were awesome! Felt it in quads and backside, plus caused an aerobic workout! As long as my knees don't kill me tomorrow, they will stay in my regular routine. I also did 30 up and downs!

does hiking count? About to hike in Blue Hills with kids up to the observatory. Plan to hike at least 2x more this week and put the treadmill in front of the tv. So, to be conservative to be sure I meet the goals, I pledge at least 7 miles this week, but will try to do 10-14, especially if hiking counts..

sorry, over calories today :-( But water in and push ups done. And some good news. MD took x-ray, and there is still evidence of bone growth, but it is much more solid than a few weeks ago, so I got the go-ahead to resume all exercise activity gradually without restriction, and can begin running again in 3 weeks!!! Yay!

Vivianleemit - try using a water bottle with a straw, and add some lemon juice or a drop or two of fruit juice. I think ou will be surprised at how many times you will need to fill your bott by just sipping during the day. Or, time your water like medication. one glass in the morning, one with each meal, one before bed....

Hi everyone, I'm Andrea, mom to a daughter who is a senior in HS, and a 5th grade daughter. I lost 30 lbs before joining, but recently hit a wall because I got a stress break (most likely due to switching from indoor soft track to hard pavement) and I redeveloped some bad habits. Cast is off and the challenge will be a…
-
I want to join! I am just out of a cast for a stress fracture in my leg, so running challenges might be rough, but I am sure I can think of some workaround to equal the challenge. Please add me to a team -- I will work hard and make you proud!

Welcome! Feel free to add me as your friend!
