  • Very normal.... my right hand is bigger than my left. My left breast is bigger than my right. My right foot is a size bigger than my left. It sounds like I look like a freak but no one notices these things but me. Except maybe the breast lol
  • I've been having this problem too and didn't connect it to changing my workouts to mornings. thanks for the tips!
  • Chili....always chili
  • Okay here is my incredibly embarrassing and TMI "story" It was when I used the bathroom and realized I had gotten so big I couldn't reach to properly clean myself without a major effort...... I am shaped like an apple....all of my weight is right out in front where I and everyone else can see it. I went to Disney world and…
  • Think outside the box! Who made the rule that eggs and bagels are for breakfast and chicken is for lunch or dinner?? If dinner from last night sounds good, I'll have some for breakfast. Yes, I've had chili for breakfast! I've had ham sandwiches for breakfast. I've had a piece of pie for breakast.
  • Try not resting on your chair....sit very lightly, then relax, then lightly...repeat as often as you can. Works your muscles like a squat. Suck in your abs, hold, release, repeat. The slower you release the more intensely the muscle is worked. Both of those can be done while you are working and with no one noticing. You…
  • Check out the book "Eat what you love, love what you eat" by Dr. Michelle May. It is exactly what you described.
  • I keep it simple 1. What do I want? 2. What do I have? 3. What do I need? The only nutritional information I really need is "Balance, variety, and moderation". If eating the cereal bar instead of the kit kat is going to make me still want the kitkat I will eat the kit kat and be done with it. As far as your body is…
  • There is a book called "eat this not that" that has a lot of good suggestions for fast food. It does the calorie counting for you. Some of the answers are more common sense but some of them may surprise you. I think Wendy's chili is always a good choice. Grilled chicken sandwiches are usually a lower fat/calorie option…
  • Congratulations on your decision to improve your health, and welcome! You will find a lot of advice and inspiration on this site. My best advice/ Find out what works for you and do it until it doesn't work for you anymore, then change it up. What works in the beginning isn't always what works in the end and what is good…
  • and how many calories are burned doing the icky dance ;)
  • I guess it would depend on which toes. There has to be a difference between the big toe and the little toe!
  • Yep maybe I will recall the article the next time I want to eat and I'm not hungry.....
  • When I am angry and I want to eat.... 1. I remind myself that eating when I'm not hungry will make it worse 2. I picture the person I am angry with telling me to just go eat something and get over it.....that usually does it for me! lol I would never do that if they told me to. I'd probably tell them to "bite me"
  • Too funny! I wanna do that!
  • LOL this is great! I've lost 67 pounds = fats and oils an average American eats in a year makes sense....it took me a year lol My goal is approximately (total) 150 pounds = the complete Oxford English Dictionary
  • it is a very personal choice and depends on how that weigh in effects you. I try to focus on non scale victories more because I have a long way to go. I weigh in once a week or less and don't measure. I allow my clothes to do that for me. :)

  • I used to have a lot of trouble with this as well. The answer was I stopped dieting. Now I eat whatever I want. I've been doing this for a couple of years combined with changing my negative eating and exercise thoughts and habits. It is a program called "Am I Hungry?" where all foods fit. I've lost 67 pounds and four pants…
  • It is expensive but when my underwear fell down in public I decided it was time to shop lol
  • I keep my food diary private because part of what got me to a point of being so overweight was the "Food Police" which caused me to stop trusting my own body. I don't want anyone's input on what I am eating. It's my decision. I no longer believe in dieting. This works for me. I will share my diary with a few individuals…
  • Something I just noticed today......next time you see an older post of someoe who is being rude and judgemental...click on their profile. They usually end up leaving. People who are motivating are motivated.
  • I was looking at a calories burned web site last night...don't remember which one I was looking for a calorie count on bellringing....and it had seperate catagories for "foreplay" and "intercourse" calories burned....but how can they even estimate without knowing how much effort you are putting into it and whether or not…
  • LOL welcome....and wrestle away the pounds ;)
  • lol this has been asked many times....the most common answer I've seen is "Yes but I log it as dance". I'd just be happy for the "intimacy" forget the calories! ;)
  • The teenager wearing unlined white shorts to swim in..... no one wants to see that!!!

  • I used to always be an afternoon gym person...that is just when it fit into my schedule. This year I started going early in the morning. I am NOT a morning person at all!!! I hate getting up....but I actually enjoy the morning work out more and it is easier for me to get there because I'm not debating with myself all day…
  • I don't do cheat days. With my plan 'all foods fit". I don't count calories. I'm just learning to use food to fuel my life while I enjoy eating it. I dieted for years and it never worked for me. Now I've lost 67 pounds in the past year without dieting. :) So if you compare what I was doing before to what I am doing now I…
