Regular tea--NOT a tea latte or anything like that. If not that, then sell the card.

Absolutely, and I will stay under on calories. I may need to estimate some since I'll be at my MIL's, but I plan to be very good.

Agree with above comment that people like to talk about themselves, so just change the subject to them. Also about not mentioning your weight loss plans because that will just draw too much attention to your behavior at the party as well as in the future. And finally, you can always just tell people that you're feeling a…

When I make a recipe (using MFP's tool), I split it up into bowls/plates immediately based on the number of servings it should be. I just weigh each bowl to make sure they're about equal. Then it goes into my fridge in four individual bowls for example. Then I don't have to measure each time I eat, and I know I'm just…

That's great - congratulations! I wonder if he remembers dishing out advice to you--and realizes that you disregarded it.

Congrats! And thanks for the link to your previous post.

I weigh in every day and log it. I have my settings so that my friends don't have to see it in their feeds. I don't pay much attention to small the ups and downs--as long as I'm on a downward slope general, I'm okay. I love having the chart to review from daily weigh-ins. It's helped me to predict things based on past…

I'm not sure if someone already posted this, but look into T.O.P.S. (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly). They're all over the place, and non-profit. The cost is usually agreed upon by the group just to support games and incentives, and it can be extremely minimal. The makeup of the group near me wasn't a good match, so I didn't…

yes, but I use very little. (I think it's actually 120 calories per Tbsp, btw)

Congratulations -- you look awesome! Thanks for sharing!

My two cents is that you really should weigh food, no matter how silly it may seem to you. (I have been known to even do it in public.) Chances are, you are eating more than you think. You're not in starvation mode.

I've found, by logging my weight every day and referring to my MFP chart, that for the first two weeks of each month, I flatline. Often, during these two weeks, I'll even bounce up and down, but never down enough to be an overall loss. Then in the second two weeks of each month, I have a satisfying drop. It really helps…

I'm about the same as you -- PF for actually about seven years for me, and now heel spurs. I also tried pretty much everything. Finally in the last several months, I started wearing Merrell Bare Access Arc 2 (bare form/barefoot shoes). They haven't solved everything, but I am running again for the first time. I don't feel…

I agree with the others. Don't wait. This can't be something that you turn on and off. And I wouldn't even baby step back into good routines and health. Just do it -- you clearly know how.

Completely agree -- I thought maybe this was an old string at first, before double chocolate chunk came out since it hadn't been mentioned. It's hands down my favorite. (I also like cinnamon roll, PB&J, and regular cookie dough)

I usually log as I go (but I do log before I eat anything). Sometimes if I know what I'm having for dinner, I might log it earlier in the day. But usually I'll just do the math in my head of what it means I have left for a snack.

Merrell Bare Access Arc 2. I love these. I've had plantar fasciitis for years-tried everything to get rid of it. Finally decided to try a barefoot shoe. (Started with Vibrams, but my little toes would go numb from being separated.) So far, so good with these. The PF isn't entirely solved, but I can run with little to no…

You can do it. And I think a lot of people are in the same boat regarding possibly needing to log forever. I know that after reach maintenance, I plan to keep logging for at least for a few months to figure out what my true maintenance is. Then, after that, I figure I'll spend a few more months getting used to what that…

I'm loving most all of their flavors. I drink it all day, and it curbs cravings--this from someone who didn't like tea really at all previously. They also have strawberry chocolate, coconut cocoa (a fave), peppermint chocolate...you get the idea. I also drink their "Get some Zzzs" before bed. My husband has joined me in an…

I found Republic of Tea's Double Dark Chocolate Mate, which is technically a tea, but with just a Tbsp of almond milk it's a great 5-calorie alternative. It also has about as much caffeine that as a cup of coffee, so I actually start each morning with that.

My sub there is fewer than 300 calories. Double chicken salad is even fewer I think. Then I get Baked Lays for another 130. Depends on what you get.

Two things I just thought of to add... First, I actually find weekends to be easier because I end up so busy and distracted that the days pass quickly. (At work, I find that I'm always thinking about what I'll have for lunch and snacks.) On weekends, before I know it, I have a lot of calories left at the end of the day.…

I have the wackiest allergy that took years to figure out, and no formal tests have confirmed it. I still don't have it 100% solved. But I think that if I eat wheat and/or gluten, and then I'm active, I get hives--like mosquito bites all over my body. During the worst bout, I passed out and fell down my stairs…

I'm a major rule follower, so the idea of going over keeps me from making bad decisions. I find that firmly making one big decision each morning--that I won't go over--makes the small decisions easier. (It also helps that I barely drink, so I don't have booze competing for calories!)
-
First of all, kudos to you for continuing to log after 125 days of little progress. I may have abandoned the mission by now if I were in your shoes. I think it's going to come down to you overestimating your calorie burn and underestimating what you eat. Be VERY diligent about everything. If you don't have a heart rate…

Congrats - that's awesome!

Wow - thanks so much for sharing! When I stay in tomorrow to avoid the cold, I'll probably try at least one of these!
-
I wouldn't log it at all. In fact, I was up 31 hours straight for Black Friday shopping and logged nothing other than my food for the time.

Most of the store-bought veggie chips are pretty much the same thing as eating regular potato chips--high fat and calories...that's why they're yummy! :) Dehydrated probably isn't going to get you the results you're looking for. As someone else said, you could try baking them. I've been eating Pop Chips occasionally.…
