We also have the Iron Gym version from Target that is very nice and allows for different grips. My hubby likes it but I have to do the assissted pullups with a chair and it's very hard to concentrate on not using your legs to push off too much. Personally, I feel like the results are a bit slower for women than for men. Since the program is alot more about toning up, the weight loss is a bit harder to come by. Wow, awesome job!!! Be sure to share your Day 90 with us as well and keep up the great work! You are certainly an inspiration for the rest of us pushing through P90X now. I'm coming up on my Day 30 next week but def. won't be sharing my pics yet!

I cross my legs as I come up which gives you a bit more leverage and balance. Still have to push with my hands and can only do about 5 before my knees start to give. But, I'm only in week 4 so I expect to get better.

JS: You are not alone! I'm beginning week 4 today and have gained 3 pounds! I was (and still kinda am) freaking out but just trying to think positive and looking forward to the first measurements on Day 30. Just hide that damn scale!!! Stupid things make us lose focus on what's really important....FEELING HEALTHY!

Thanks everyone. Edorice, my HRM reading is typically anywhere from 500-750 calories depending on the workout. I just feel like that is a crazy high amount (esp. on weight training days). I do drink my protein shake on weight training days. We always do our workout at night after our daughter is in bed so no extra workout…

Did you eat back those exercise calories? If not, your body only really consumed 700 calories and it kicked into starvation mode. this makes your body take any calories you did have and store them mostly as fat.

Personally, I like the arc trainers MUCH BETTER than the elliptical. Most elliptical machines at the gym are so old and run down that they make noise and are clunky! Do you take the type of BCPs where you do not have your period? Where you skip the sugar pill week? If so, that can typically cause spotting (as it does with me). And I have def. noticed my periods being unusual since starting to work out.

Holy crap! For just 30 days, you have made awesome progress! Hubby & I started P90X and are currently on Day 9. I hope & pray I have decent results on Day 30 thought I have been told Day 60 is when you will really start to see the progress. You look amazing! Keep it up!

After Kenpo, I am usually very tight across my shoulders and back. So, I did the stretch DVD last week and loved it! 60 mins may be a bit much but it did go by pretty quickly (Even with my 2 year old trying to "Help" me with the stretches...LOL! Talk about flexible; my daughter could kick butt in Yoga!!

Had the Applebees Sirloin & Shrimp under 550 calorie meal and surprisingly, it was delicious!!

Absolutely Amazing! I agree that it looks like WAY more than 13 pounds...and I bet it was since you surely turned some of that fat into muscle. Your arms, waist and face show the most difference! Only on Week 2 of Lean so you give me the motivation to keep going :)

I do one very similar. 1 scoop chocolate protein powder 1 frozen banana 1 tbsp peanut butter 1/2 cup milk It's delicious and tastes like one of those chocolate covered frozen bananas you can buy at amusement parks!!!

I am also doing p90X and just started (on Day 6). I'm starting out about 10lbs heavier than you. My question: around what week did you actually start to SEE the results? I can FEEL my body is getting more efficient but so far the scale has a different story. Were your day 30 and 60 results/pics good as well?

Did Kenpo today and LOVED IT! I think it's for sure going to be my favorite workout. Said I burned 755 calories (I have a cheaper Sportsline HRM) so not sure about that number). However, I am overweight and my HR gets up into the 170s sometimes so maybe that is close to the real amount burned. Usually, though I don't eat…
