I've found some great workout videos through searching on Pinterest. There's also "Daily Burn" which you can get on Roku or other Smart devices, but you have to pay. Still, Lots of variety available.

Obsessed! Sea Salt Caramel or the Cookie Dough is amazing!!! It's so good - and actually filling - that I can't usually eat the whole thing.

Brownies - though I only had half a piece. So good though! I think the beer from a party saturday for my Husband's 35th was worse than Sunday!!!

Most of mine are Old Navy. I just got a new pair this weekend and I LOVE THEM!!! Cropped, high waist compression and they DON'T fall down while doing cardio - which is the ultimate test!

20lbs total for my main goal! Mini goal I've got 8 lbs to go :)

probably already mentioned but I didn't read the whole thread. Donut Shop Chocolate Glazed Donut - smells delicious while brewing! Good ole Starbucks :) Pike Place is mild And the Apple Cider (bright green cup - forget brand) is sooooo delicious! I haven't tried any of the teas yet but I want to!

Wow, way to go!!!! Such an amazing accomplishment. Plus an amazing pace to keep up for a half marathon!

Great job! I've never done WW but have tons of friends who have and love it. I've been back the last few weeks and usually log in every day. Please feel free to add me...all my old friends from a few years ago are no longer logging in :(

Hi, I was thinking of getting this. Do you just do one DVD a day for the 10 mins? Or are you supposed to mix n match?
-
thejackswild - thanks for sharing your story! Based on your profle pic, it looks like you enjoy doing the same races I do! We did two "5k mud runs" a few months ago - MudStash and SwampStomp. This year, we have a whole calendar full of mud races and I CAN"T WAIT for the spring when most of them start. We have the popular…

Thanks Azdak! What you said makes much more sense. I did understand it was more for the "Serious trainer/runner" therefore it doesn't make much sense for the Couch to 5k Facebook page to post it...It wouldn't apply to MOST of there fans. I'm definitely not a serious runner and honestly don't expect my running performance…

I have the Pure Fitness kind but hated the flavors - I will look for the tropical one. Some limes sound like a good idea as I LOVE lime flavored anything - I'll try that overnight. Cucumber? That sounds kinda gross, LOL!

Welcome! Love the topic heading :) Good luck to you! You will come to love MFP and hopefully meet some really great friends :)

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Transformation! Every time I look at these threads, it always looks like a different person! PS> - Love the tats...is that a sugar skull?

Oh, and for those asking for an app, the C25k lite is good but it doesn't track everything. Use Runkeeper (also free) and just input your program manually each time in the activities. That way, you can get your time, pace, etc and it gives you as many (or as little) audio prompts as you want! I started out with lots of…

Finished C2K5 before the holidays and I have to tell you, it is truly a Miracle program! As with everyone else, I LOATHED running!!! Even in high school when I was a puny 120 pounds! Started the program with a friend and looked ahead thinking, "What?! 8 min run, NO WAY will I be able to do that!!" Guess what, it was EASY!…

I started at it again last week. I've never completed the whole thing yet so I hope this is the time! My plan is to do it MWF as well with my 10k training on T and Th. I already screwed it up last week and missed a day of 30DS but did my two killer 3 mile runs so I guess it's ok.

Using my HRM, Level 1 is always 225-250 calories. I am 5.8 and 180 pounds if that helps.

Thanks everyone! I printed both the Hal Higdon and B210k programs. I'll def. do Hal's approach to the full week (cross training, stretch, strength, etc) as my plan was already to do 30 day shred on Monday/Wed, run Tues/Thurs/one weekend day, and rest day on Friday so it fit perfectly! However, as for the actual program, I…

Thanks! Of course I found the program with a little more searching right after posting!

Awesome, thanks Dawn!!!

Im on runkeeper and love the app as well!!! Add me if you would like (username is bheimbrock)

Three questions for those who have finished the program: 1) Week 5 day 3 they randomly throw in a 20 min run!!:noway: This scares the crap out of me! I've read that you will be surprised what your body can do by this time but I have to say; it's intimidating! So, just wondering how everyone else did on this day? 2) I've…

Just finished week 1 last night MotivatedBride - you give me hope! My first 5K is the Egg Nog Jog on Dec 17. If I don't have to repeat a week (and I'm certain I will around week 5) then it will put me at finshing the program the week before :) Let's hope for the same good results you had!!!

Great job!! I use the C5K and runkeeper too..good programs! A good website for shoes at good prices joesnewbalanceoutlet.com I recommend starting out with no less than 740's [/quote] Thanks! Just finished week 1 last night! And UGHHH I wish I would have seen your post earlier. I went on Thursday to get shoes at "The…

Just started last night! Ran on the streets and did 2 miles in the 20 mins and was happy with myself since I have NEVER EVER liked running and have always sucked at it! I actually had a good time and kinda wanted to keep going but knew to pace myself. What really helped me was downloading the RunKeeper App and entering in…

I too have a desk job. I always have water and that usually helps. I also keep healthy snacks in my drawer like almonds, granola bars, etc. Sometimes I'll sneak a small piece of dark chocolate to cure the craving. However, if nothing works, get up from your desk and start moving around. Talk to people, take a walk outside,…
