excellent results!!! Great job. Just started 30DS this week so I'm excited to see you had such great results.

Waiting for my free sample in the mail. Hopefully, they send me a yummy flavor! I'm a big crystal light fan but we go through it fast at our house. If I can get 24 bottles out of this, then the $3,99 is so worth it!

Loved seeing this topic! I live and work in Cincinnati and though Skyline is delicious I can't eat it very often since it gives me some serious heartburn. They do have some other options that are a bit healthier but if you are gonna be in Cincy then SPLURGE on a 3 or 4 way!!!!

Just got 30DS and Ripped in 30 in the mail from Amazon! But, I won't be starting until I finish P90X. Good luck all!

Catered lunches at work; or just going out to eat in general.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Unfortunately, my husband bought it from Craigslist so I don't have a receipt through Beachbody.
-
Holy crap! That is amazing!!!!
-
We started at the exact same weight. I am down 13.5 so far and I totally hope to look like you at the 22 lb mark!!!! Way to go, such an inspiration!!!!
-
HAHA, I really hope you are joking.
-
Amazing results! I opened the picture and said "wow"out loud so that's saying something!

Hmm, I actually never thought of that but it has to affect them. I know when "Shark Week" (As my lovely hubby refers to it!) shows up, my weight will fluctuate by 2-4 lbs because of the bloating and water weight.

LOVE this thread! I am also a huge fan of cereal. Agree with others that Kashi Go Lean Crunch is fantastic! Most days however, I have oatmeal with some craisins or raisins and a touch of granola. Uggh, and the new Frosted Mini Wheats with a Touch of Fruit are delicious but definitely not the best for you with 10g of sugar…

ME!! I think most of us women do this to ourselves! We are always hung up on a certain number. I'm hovering at 180.5 and just CANNOT get out of the 180s to save my life!!!!! Even a 179.9 would make me happy but NO, scale is stubborn. :)

Ok, one more question while I am here :) So, I think I want to reset my Carb/Fat/Protein ratio but I'm not sure what I should set it for. Currently, here are my goals in MFP: Carbs 205 Fat 50 Protein 56 I try to go a bit over in protein each day and I generally stay under fat easily. However, carbs is a whole other issue…

Thanks! P90X has a TON of strength training so I am certainly doing this often. Also, I do wear a HRM and for strength training days, I only log 60% of what my HRM shows (this is based on reading other posts about HRMs not being accurate with resistance training). Thanks, i will not be changing my settings.

Thanks everyone! Meg, you were totally right, it does say 1990 so now I understand I am at a 500 calorie deficit to equal the 1lb a week goal. That BMR stuff always confuses me!!

My husband & I (def. out of shape) started P90X as well and we were SOOO sore the first week we almost gave up too. But, we are in Phase 2 week 2 right now and moving right along! It never gets "easier" per se but you will notice how your muscles start to figure out how to do things (like more pushups, lunges, pullups…

I think those first 10-15 pounds are noticeable to other but not noticeable to ourselves because we are looking for much more drastic results! So, we are expecting to see better results and our brain won't let us be happy with the small changes...Stupid brain! LOL But, you can see a difference! I would suggest taking…

My Chiropractor always recommends any type of core workout for strenghtening your back. This should also help you to lose that stubborn back fat as well!
-
In Phase 2 week 2. Did Core last night and noticed I did so much better than normal. Really brought it on all the pushups and other floor work as those tend to be the hardest! Still can't get anywhere near those crazy Chatarunga Runs/Isos!!! Cardio X tongiht which is a fave of mine since it mixes so many of the other…
-
I just log them all in under cardio and type in my time & calories burned from my HRM. If it is the strength training, then I only input 60% of the calories burned as the HRM is not as effective with this type of workout.
-
Sure as heck wish they were accurate!!! Mine have never been right even though I almost never go over my calories.
-
I know exactly what you mean! HATE my double chin in pics. I always try to pose so as not to show it. Looked at your pics by the way and didn't see it. Love the tats!!!
-
Wow, a whole different woman was hiding in there! I am amazed at your progress and you give me such hope :) Thanks for sharing your inspirational story!!!

At most buffet's you can order off a standard menu. Try to order brown or steamed rice and a dish with chicken and veggies. and ask for no sauce or on the side so you can control the amount. If you must to the buffet, they usually have a salad bar with fruit so eat that and try to pick protein to fill up on.
-
You can totally notice you have slimmed down. 40 pounds is a huge accomplishment so don't worry too much about the pics right now! Skydiving is sooo worth it...have fun!

I think we missed three workouts. For this first time, i didnt follow the diet plan but have been using mfp. Eating way better than I have ever done in my life. Just a slow and steady process. Of course, you want it to be fast but i piled on this weight over years and it's gonna take some hard work.
-
Uggh, resized three times and still can't get it to post correctly from photobucket! Really didn't want to see my belly that close up!!!
-
Awesome job and great progess! I'm currently doing P90X with my husband but when that is over, I was thinking of doing 30 day Shred before we do another round of P90X.
