^^This. You don't need any equipment and only need a small area. The moves are simple - only 4 of them and you can always walk in place if you don't want to do them. I've also heard good things about Jessica Smith TV on youtube as well. She seems a little too 'ehh' for me; it's more aerobic-style workouts, but with the…

Veggies! My favorite way to cook them - roasted! Asparagus, broccoli, carrots, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, zucchini. Season them. S/P, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, etc. Drizzle olive oil. Cook on high - 415 or so for about 20 minutes. Maybe a few minutes longer. Stir/mix 1/2 way through. SOOO good! - For the…

The last couple of weeks, I've been grilling out - hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken sausage and grilled chicken. That way, I can grab-n-go for lunch. I've cut up a chicken sausage, added cooked peppers & onions with a tad of chipotle sauce on a wrap and call it a day. How about tuna or tuna melts (tomato, tuna, cheese) or…

Hi there! I'm pretty new here, so I hope I don't give you misinformation. It's my understanding that if you are using the TDEE method, you aren't eating those exercise calories back. I merge the 2 - I have a lower calorie daily count based on my TDEE, but eat back my exercise calories up to 200. The exercise I do, is only…

I've been on for a little over a month. Logging seems more like a daily routine instead of a chore. Feel free to add me. Good luck!

Hi there! Good luck with your weight loss. Your post is kind of vague. Is there a particular question or piece of advice you need? It's probably best that you play around with the app and see what's available. Plus, in each forum section, there are announcements. Try reading that and see if it answers your questions. The…

First, let me say, I am PROUD of you! I am PROUD to call you my mentor. I am PROUD that you will not allow the naysayers to rule your eating life. You are a truly remarkable woman. Second, I'm sorry. I did this to a friend about 10 years ago. She was losing weight and didn't tell anyone she was watching what she ate and…

^^This. In fact, I went back to my local Trader Joe's today and they said they wouldn't have anymore until March!! They weren't expecting EVERYONE to like them so much. Kicking myself for not getting more than 1 bag last week!!!

Oatmeal (as so many others have said). Maybe it's because I'm from the South? Tried so many variations - it's just not good...UNLESS, they are in Peanut Butter Delights. Liquid coffee creamer is another one. Yeah, it tastes good, but it's not worth the calories. Try powder instead. More bang for your buck *and…

I read that some of the bars at such are very expensive where you are. Perhaps you can order them off of Amazon? IDK what the shipping costs are, but if you have Prime, you probably could get an excellent deal. Figure out what works for you, and, then order in bulk. Good luck!

That's my preference, too.

Interesting views. I always thought for liquids (which I would consider salad dressing), go with the measurement (1tsp, 1tbsp). For solids, go with food scale.

For breakfasts: Egg bake (eggs, bacon, cheese, jalapenos - but any combo would work). bake @ 350 x20 mins. Makes 9 squares. For me, a srvg is 2. OR hard-boiled eggs. Easy to put 2 in a baggie and grab and go. If you like you could always make like an egg salad with a tad of mayo if you have the extra calories. Lunches:…

I bought a few of the Starkist Creations, but haven't tried any of them yet. Thanks for the inspiration to do so with all of these great ideas!

Thanks for the feedback. Good point, davis_em. I'll do that next time.

I recently discovered Leslie Sanson from a co-worker. She has a lot of youtube videos for free. She also sells DVDs that have a resistance band included. If you are unsure, try the free videos. I've used the youtube videos and they are helpful to me. I'm new to working out, but apparently, there is a Leslie Sansone group…

I hate to ask a question with a question, but are you sure that it is hunger or are you just bored or used to snacking then? I am learning that sometimes, it is just a hard habit to break; late night snaking (LNS), that is. In fact, I added a 'meal' for late night snacking in hopes it would prevent me from LNS (and it…

Tonight: Apricot chicken, roasted brussels sprouts with bacon and pasta alfredo Tomorrow night: Kielbasa with peppers and onions and roasted carrots with dijon mustard & balsamic vinaigrette and leftover pasta alfredo (but not for me). Tuesday night: Mini meatloaves, cauliflower bake Wednesday night: Not sure yet, probably…

^^This. I LOVE this recipe. If there is something you don't like, omit it or replace it with something else. Sometimes, I'm not in the mood for kalmata olives and feta, so I omit it. I've also cut back the EVOO as well. Good luck!

Thank you for sharing! I'm extremely impressed...and motivated! I've used the "I have 2 kids under 2" excuse for 8 years! I've blamed 'not enough time in the day' A LOT! Thank you, for saying, 'IT is POSSIBLE!"

·6 eggs, beaten ·The bacon, once it's cooked, crumble it ·Mix everything and then pour into the baking dish. I'm sure all of that you knew, but just in case. :)

I found an "egg bake" on Pinterest and then altered it. We have a similar issue. Long commute and need something portable. I do like hard-boiled eggs, but since you Can cook on Sunday. Try this: - 6 eggs - 8 pieces of pre-cooked bacon (I use Hormel, black label) - 3 tsp diced jalapenos - 1.25 cup shredders cheese (I like…

I just discovered Leslie Sansone recently. A co-worker told me about her. It doesn't sound very 'fun' to be walking in place, but I checked out some of her videos and they are pretty good. I did the first video - 1 mile walk today. It definitely got my heart pumping. I love that most of her videos are on youtube and are…

I do not like the texture of beans. Any kind of bean. Except green beans. It's like a soft, gritty texture. Gross. The popsicle stick is a good. I got body shivers from just thinking about that! Ick!

^^This is why it wouldn't work for me. If this isn't an issue for you, try it. My question would be - why do you want 'free eating'? Do you consider logging a pain or do you want to 'hide' a treat or meal for the weekend? Also, do you think you could re-start logging your foods on Monday? Sometimes, it only takes a day or…
