Please explain protein, carb, fat grams/kg/day formula
I went to a trainer and he gave me a calculation about how many grams/kg I needed. It was towards the end of our session and I didn't really get a chance to clarify. He told me I should start eating 1850 calories (I'm currently at ~1400) and he wanted 45% = protein cals, 35% = carb cals, and 20% = fat cals. I'm so confused…

When you indulge in adult spirits, do you tend to snack and accumulate calories? If so, do you have any tips or tricks to help limit the damage? And before the nutrition nazis attack, 'limit the damage' means, you stay within your caloric range. I.e. You don't have bad foods with bad fat with bad proportions. ;)

Food logging question...probably simple
If a bag of frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts say "average 5oz portion", do you log it as the 5oz portion OR do you weigh it once you've cooked it and then log that amount? After weighing my "5oz portion", my food scale says 2.7oz! TIA

I have never counted (or considered) it part of my water intake. I read a post that suggested you could count it. Please let me know why or why you don't count it. And yes, I've read the links on the myth of tea and coffee dehydrating and therefore shouldn't be counted.
