Last week, I was trying to get through a particularly challenging run on the treadmill. There was a teen girl on the elliptical next to me talking on her phone, so I was annoyed by that...then it got worse when her little friend came to hang out with her and wedged herself between my treadmill and the elliptical. Then they…

It's amazing! It is totally worth buying, although my husband thinks it's disgusting and leaves the snot sucking to me! :-)

Happy to report that I'm back on track! I rested (from running, not working out) for 4 days, iced my shin several times and got a compression sleeve (which works awesome!). I also am going to stop doing the treadmill unless I absolutely can't get in a run another way - outside was so much more motivating! I am repeating…

Bump - saving for later!

That's awesome you found a way to cut costs & I LOVE Amazon Prime (I think I should be promoted to a "Gold" member based on how much I order from them!). I have a 9 month old and we've used cloth diapers with him since he was born. All said and done, you can get a whole stash of diapers for less than $200. It really only…

I'm in - I still have about 50 lbs to lose and could use the motivation!

I do this too...I eat .5-1 serving of chocolate chips a day, I just fit it in. Sometimes, I eat a few at a time and sometimes I eat the whole serving at once. I just weight it out beforehand and make sure I track it.

Can't. Stop. Laughing. Butt!

I love working out with my husband. It definitely pushes me to work harder because I know he's watching.

I would start on whatever your next run would have been - you should be able to tell within the first 2 runs if you need to back off. If you do, maybe repeat the last week you did and then try to move on. I would also pay attention to slowing your pace, especially on your first run back. Good luck!

Have you heard of the Couch to 5K program? It's 8-9 weeks (depending on the training schedule/app you choose) and it takes you through a training program to work from not running to running 5K. Loads of people here do the program and there is a group for it as well if you would like to join.…

Congratulations! Great job!

I gained while EBF'ing my son as well. I gained 15 lbs during my pregnancy (I was at 185 when I got pregnant), was down to 175 within 2 weeks of delivery and then proceeded to gain 24 lbs over the next 6 months. I started working out and watching what I ate around 2 months postpartum, only to get a plugged duct and a major…

Take a break! I would make sure it is a defined break (i.e. with an end date) so that you don't backslide, but it sounds like you need it.

I work from home now, which makes it easier, but I remember this! When I was in the office, it seemed like there was always a lunch party, a birthday cake, a well meaning coworker bringing in a 10lb bag of candy, etc. And I may have been projecting, but sometimes it seemed like there was some intentional pressure aimed at…

Sounds great - thanks!

I'm in the same boat! I've been wanting to try out CF for forever and lo and behold, a box opened right around the corner from my house. I keep wanting to do one of their Saturday drop in classes but then I think of a reason not to (don't want to look stupid, intimidated by the workouts, not in shape enough, everyone in…

Great job!! 5 more to go is awesome!

Great job! Thanks for the motivation - I'm in the same boat. I'm on W5D1 and D3 has been on my mind since week 1. It's very much a psychological battle and good on you for doing it even though you had an excuse not to!

Sounds delicious!

I ate them once also and didn't care for them. They also gave me a horrible stomach ache that woke me up in the middle of the night. Some people swear by them though! I don't think you have to use the whole package at once although, it seems like you could just make the whole thing and cut your recipe into 2 servings (one…

I hate spending lots of cash on something that I know won't fit me in 2 months anyway - so all my sports bras and other workout gear comes from Marshall's/TJ Maxx. Sports bras are from $9.99 to $19.99 regular price (cheaper if you can find some on clearance). I found some great ones that say "Maximum Support" on the tag. I…

Bump - definitely trying this next week! YUM!

I got the most basic Polar. I like it and have had it about a month - however, I now wish I would have gotten the FT7 that syncs with my phone, since I always have my phone with me and it negates the need for the watch.

Wow - awesome post. You look awesome and what a transformation!

I think you just have to keep gently/nicely reminding him. My husband has been like this in the past when I was working hard on being healthy and he wasn't. It's much easier on both of us now that we're both really making an effort to eat healthier.

Bump! I hate mayo so this would be a good substitute!

Great job! My son is 9 months. I actually GAINED 20 lbs from two to seven months postpartum because I was just eating too much and was very worried about my supply. Since January, I'm down 13 lbs with no supply issues (but my son is also eating a lot less now that he's eating more solids).

I wish! There is nothing like bonnaroo...my son is 8 months old and my DH and I wonder if we'll ever get to go again! I'll be totally jealous of you come June. Have fun on the farm!

IMO Week 4 is one of the hardest weeks - I did W4D1 tonight and had a much easier time of it than I did my last time through because I slowed my pace down. I want to run faster but I know I won't make it through if I do!
