  • 1) I'm alive :) 2) Yesterday I broke a pretty big threshold in my cardio. I'm able to run about a mile in cross-terrain without rest in about 10 minutes. Big improvement for me considering I couldn't run for more than 30 seconds when I started. 3) I broke into my next set of 10 lbs. Bringing me to a total of 33 lbs lost
  • The little victories. Great work.
  • I bought the FT40. It's the best for a feature/cost balance. The biggest of which is that this watch estimates (pretty accurately even) V02MAX which extremely important when tryign to calculate accurate caloric expendature. It essentially adds another metric to it's calorie burning algorithim. Another thing that it does…
  • Anything you regualarly stress your body with will become easier for a couple of reasons.... 1) muscle/strength increases 2) your muscles and brain learn how to do things more efficiently The secret is that you stick to it :) Good luck and enjoy it!
  • This is literally the equivalent to me posting a picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger and saying I dont want biceps like his... What makes you even think you can get close to that... I find it infuriating to see these posts. If you woke up looking like that in the morning you would *kitten* yourself. /Thread.
  • Thanks for the advice everyone. I've removed the battery from my scale and threw it away. Now I have to pay $5 for a new battery every time I want to weight myself ;) Comical...but I think it's what will be best for me in the end and I will weight myself once every two weeks/month.
  • I think I'm just going to have to do this and trust that the work will provide results.
  • I'm engaged in a weight lifting program that Kris Gethin put together. Very intense workouts... As far as inches go, I just feel like it's subjective in the sense that you can move the "belt" slightly and lose/gain an inch. It's just frustrating to not have a solid indication of progress.
  • Marie hit in on the head... Good fat...nuts are high in calories per content...good snack but eat in moderation.
  • Yeah..admitting that you have a copy of p90x on the internet probably isn't the greatest idea as it is a copyright infringement. Purchase the program...it has all of the documentation you need and every 'file' should work fine.
