I started off at about 360lbs and I have limited time to spend at the gym as well (around an hour or so, sometimes more sometimes less). On top of that I go after work when everyone and their mother go. I thought I would be intimidated at first as well, but lets face it... 1) do you really care what people you don't know…

I was pretty much the same way. I snacked at work and home. I have gotten it down to good snacks inbetween meals. I am currently addicted to minneola oranges. If you like oranges, they are the the greatest. They have a for the pack of a better term, nipple, on the top that makes peeling a really easy.

My wife and I are taking the journey together. One day in a couple of months ago we were doing grocery shopping. For no reason at all (well other than we were overweight) we decided to make the change. We weren't following a diet or anything, we just bought a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies and searched for some recipes…

I am going to make an appointment this week with my doctor for a referral. I think it is better to know for sure and have it mapped out better. I have always been a self starter and heavy researcher (its in my nature) and thought that I would be able to just jump into this and figure it out. As time goes on I am beginning…

No offense taken at all. As a matter of fact I appreciate the bluntness. You may be on to something here. The thing is even when I first started out it wasn't a hard adjustment and I was a lot more strict. If you look, I have loosened up a bit over time. He'll I was eating basically the same meal every day and it was…

I started out a little over a month ago. I am a really big guy. I am 5'10 and started out around 357lbs. I weighed myself this morning and I am at 333. I really wish I took some shirt off before pictures, but I didn't have the foresight. Good luck!

I have the H7 and use it with Beats for the iPhone. I am happy with it. It's actually made me adjust my workout to try to stay within the fat burning zone during cardio.

I usually go with an orange, a Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla) or I bring a bag of Smart Pop popcorn.

I really like my Polar h7. I just got it last week and I have been using it every day since. I have been using the polar app with it and it tracks activities pretty well. It also works with digifit, so I may give that a go

I've never tried running after strength training, but I can attest that it helps to run before. I just got my HRM this past weekend and my heart rate is staying around 25 to 30 bpm higher than if I didn't do cardio that session.
