  • coffee is a bit of a diuretic, everyone is wrong for talking in absolutes on both sides of the argument.
  • interested! i'm not a massive fan of the american bacon I have sampled. it was so thin and crunchy and flavourless. Plz tell me its not all like that and I was just given horrible stuff. australian bacon <3
  • I missed round 1 :( i'm in favour of it. I did it properly for a few months and felt amazing. Dropped weight really easy, full of energy, didn't miss normal foods at all. But I've been off it for a while - moving house meant I just didn't have the kitchen time needed. Still trying to make good choices and I haven't gained…
  • You're losing your carby bulk. Water weight, all that stuff (ugh I'm tired and words are hard to find)... you'll lose a few kg very quickly and then it will slow right down I'd say its definitely to be expected but also the minute you stop keto that would come back on.
  • I've heard of women doubling up - wear a normal bra and a cheap sports bra over the top! Apparently its really supportive
  • i really hate that this is a new goal for women. its ridiculous and just hearing the phrase makes me cranky.
  • i dont think google will yield many results for 'flouride'
  • i've started growing some basil on my windowsill ! hoping to work my way up to a veggie patch someday but i dont have a green thumb at all :(
  • ugh yes, i am 26 now... nights out that wouldnt have affected me at all 5 years ago now result in a completely wasted day. its crazy how it changes. guess i need to invest in quality
  • fizzy drinks make my tummy hurt. that unfortunately includes beer and cider. and fizzy mixers, so even sailor jerrys with ginger beer is a no-no. i cant believe i was home by midnight and still feel this terrible. getting old SUCKS
  • it might help, but i think its more important to have a good understanding of how you SHOULD be eating. Like you cant just say 'welp i've cut the pasta out, weight will just start falling off!' what do you mean by soup protein?
  • also i love the outfits in this thread. moar posts plz.
  • this!! every damn autumn they come out and i enthusiastically try them on... and remember that they look awful on me. also... fur coats. whenever i have tried one on i look like Hagrid.
  • can you please go read the pages i linked to? you clearly know nothing about bra sizing. go measure yourself using the guide. my underbust is now 32inches, so i wear a 32. its not particularly small. also american sizes are ridiculous, cup sizes go up to like a J in the uk. D is not big.
  • i really doubt you're an A cup. You're just wearing the wrong size. that fat at the sides is probably breast tissue smooshed back there from wearing A cups and sportsbras all the time. I wear a 32D but my boobs are like... less than a handful. I used to think i was a 34A/B. In actual fact, D is a pretty small size still.…
  • I stumbled across this today. I am so in love. Its VELVET ffs.
  • green smoothies made with a handful of green stuff and whatever fruit I've got in the house I crave them. Want one now, come to think of it :(
  • er no, I'm saying that a standard meal worth of greasy pepperoni pizza would put you way over your calories because its so calorie-dense. Don't put words in my mouth plz. Maybe OP doesn't want to just eat one slice of Dominoes Pizza when they could eat a whole home-made one for the same cals. Hence asking for recipes. But…
  • ...really? store-bought stuff from Dominos or Pizza Hut is dripping with grease, loaded with cheese and sugary sauces. Maybe OP wants to eat more than 1 slice of pizza for dinner. People overeat it because its so calorie-dense that you need numerous slices to feel satisfied.
  • I tried to do a 'detox' once. It was a relaxed one as far as they go, letting me eat some meat & veges, I'd never try a liquids one. But I had to take these tablets that were meant to flush your system. After less than a week of it I found myself sobbing over the ironing board because I was so upset about having to go to…
  • This is weird. So many people don't like vegetables? Like as a whole, the entire food group? I hate peas, but I like most other stuff. I hated green beans until I realised it was just that I hate overcooked boiled furry ones. They're delicious sauteed in a bit of butter. I don't know anyone who would say they don't like…
  • flax seeds? I think they're pretty low in carbs.
  • I really like Margaret Atwood's dystopian future (MaddAddam trilogy) - it has an interesting take on food production. They start mass producing lab-grown meat as a cruelty-free and cost-effective alternative. It tastes terrible, nothing like the food it replicates, but quickly becomes the norm. I can absolutely see that…
  • She said 'all day long'. Are you saying theres nothing wrong with stuffing your face with taco bell 24/7?
  • In your opinion. I like using it as rice and as pizza bases. I prefer it, actually. No need to worry about portion control either. No post-eating bloat or sluggish feeling.
  • maybe not, but a cauliflower base is really delicious and you can eat way more of it than store-bought pizza. also it can be easily adapted for low carb, paleo, gluten-free etc. Don't hate on cauliflower!
  • if you're going to pay for that much milk you might as well just buy a cow and get free milk.
  • I think you need to have mfp friends who're doing the same kind of eating plan as you are. If you don't want to eat clean, fine. Befriend 'everything in moderation' people instead.
  • nope, I'm completely the opposite. Clothing hides a trainwreck body. i'd love to see what your girls figures look like & make some suggestions for what might suit?
  • the presense of fat does not determine how healthy something is. would a bag of fat-free sweets be healthier than an avocado? no.
