A heart rate monitor is the best way to go.

I definitely force myself to exercise so I can eat more because I'm always starving!!!!!
-
Doesn't look like you're eating enough. My rule: on days with no exercise, it's okay to be a little under. But on days when you burn: you HAVE to eat some of that back. I go for 50-70% of them. Make sure on exercise days, you at least eat your net calorie goal.

You look great! Keep up the good work!

Yeah, the scale can SUCK sometimes. It's like, how can I be 146, go out drinking all night, wake up, and be 143???? Crazy! Use those jeans...that's a better gauge!
-
Hey, you have to do what works for you!! Cheat days work for some, not for others. It's all good. :-)
-
Keep at it! You'll have some weeks where it's great loss, and others where the scale doesn't budge. Just keep doing what you're doing....think about where the alternative got ya! You can do it!!

I find something similar. I have a ridiculous sweet tooth, but now I just make better choices to satisfy it. Like instead of chocolate, I'll do a "diet soda cupcake" or a vitatop muffin.....or a Mousse temptations. I'm still craving the sweet stuff, I just make better decisions as to what I shove in my mouth. And for…

Anyone can do it. Look at some of those people on Biggest Loser. If they can do it, SO CAN YOU!!!!! I went over my calories today (by 7, but still!) IT'S OKAY!!!!! Make better choices, if you screw up every once in awhile, who cares???

I think if someone had a gun to my head and said, "Do a pull up or die", I'd have to die because I CAN NOT do even one! I think this might be part of the reason I gave up on p90x. That's LOADED with them. I'll just dance the fat off and sub some strength training periodically. That I can do!

The special K ones are good. 120 cals for 24 crackers. Not bad!!
-
Have you tried Dannon Light and Fit? Seriously, it's DELICIOUS....you can hardly tell it's fat-free. Mix it with a little fruit (something low sugar, like berries) and some granola, you're good to go. As for granola: watch because some of it can be REALLY high in fat/cals. I go for the BearNaked Fit Vanilla Almond. Pretty…

I personally think it depends on your body type. I have a friend who sweats when he's just standing around sometimes; he has special Dr. prescribed deodorants for it. He's not overweight; he just sweats like CRAZY. If you're not a sweater, than you're not a sweater. I happen to be one...it's kind of gross sometimes!

I've danced 7 pounds off so far. I do Zumba classes, Zumba fitness for Wii, and salsa dancing. That, combined with eating better and at least 2 strength-training workouts a week (via Exercise TV on demand) has been doing it. You don't have to go to the gym...that's such a myth!

I would say eat smaller meals and snack throughout the day. Also, maybe cut back calories by 200 or so a day, if you can? I try to stay around 1200, net.

If you're under consistently by a lot, that could lead to problems (the whole "starvation" mode thing). If you're under by a little, that should be ok. If you're under because you earned exercise calories, make sure to eat some of them back or you'll be too low. I usually try for 50-70% of them. (not the word of God...just…

Malibu and diet Coke forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And always remember to double check the stuff for accuracy against whatever the box at home says. Sometimes people make mistakes when they put stuff in. Two of the same exact product might say two completely different things in terms of calories, fat, etc. so always double check.
-
Agreed. I like to stick to 400 and below.

53. What's the top score? 100?
-
I typically eat 50-70% of them.

Taco Bell has some delicious lo-cal alternatives. Too much sodium, but hey: you can't win 'em all!
-
I cheat in the sense that when I have a bad day, I don't go through and try to find every piece of crap I ate. I'll just quick-add 1500 cals or whatever. But yeah, if I have Polaner all fruit blackberry, and I can only find raspberry, I'll use that if it's the same nutrional info.
-
I LOVE them, but they're so darn expensive!!! The Slim A Bear sandwiches by Klondike are good too, and 100 cals. They also make a sugar free version.
-
That drives me CRAZY when restaurants don't post the info. I almost don't want to eat there because of it. Houlihans is the same way (at least about a year ago it was....haven't been back since).
-
Sadly, the only artichokes I eat are usually in dips loaded with cheese, so I'd be interested in some as well....
-
Poached salmon filets with salsa, steamed broccoli, and brown rice...yum! And lean enough that I can have something sweet later. (I'm talking to you in the freezer, Slim-A-Bear 100 cal ice cream sandwiches  )

I make a bangin' French toast with light wheat bread (2 slices), dipped in a mixture of egg beaters and unsweetened almond milk, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and 2 tbsp light Cool Whip (you could do the sugar free whip, too). DE-LICIOUS!!!!
