  • I know Five Below (if you have one by you; everything in the story is $5 or less) has some weights, but I'm not sure how high they go. They also have some other workout stuff (bands, etc).

  • Hubby runs and he gets shin splints like WHOA. STRETCH YOUR CALVES REALLY WELL!! It always helps his. Aasics are amazing shoes for running; that's what I always buy him.
  • I've consistently gone over on my sugar and sodium almost daily and have still lost weight. Try to eat at least your daily goal, but pay attention to what you're eating, too. Often the problem with the "wrong calories" is that they are very high for very little food, and you still feel hungry. Try to get healthy stuff in…
  • Totally agree. To me, the attractive part about a guy is confidence; knowing that he's comfortable with who he is and won't need constant reassurance. I mean, get to the point that you feel comfortable and whoever you meet will respect that (if she's right for you).
  • I've been at it for nearly 3 months now (successfully) and I am always hungry! I just try to ignore it. It sucks sometimes.
  • Damn girl! You look great!!
  • First, it's AMAZING that you've lost the weight, so be proud of yourself! Hold up your old pants to yourself. Put them on and watch them fall to the floor because you're too skinny for them anymore! And do "before/after" pics side by side. I've lost 1 pant size and I see a difference in me. I can't IMAGINE how much of a…
  • Food. Any and all. Hence, why I'm here! Sweets KILL me, though. And French fries. With cheese. YUM!
  • Hey, I still eat several cheat meals a week (probably more than I should) but I am consistently losing weight. I even have some "cheat days" where I go way over. However, I'm down 16 lbs in 2 months because for the MOST part I watch what I eat and I exercise. Don't deny yourself; just don't over-indulge and you'll be ok.…
  • The only thing I can think of is when you spell something and the auto-correct fixes it before you realize it and you send anyway. Then you fix it again and it's still wrong. Then again, and it's still wrong. And you're like "DAMMIT!" And by that time, you've sent 6 texts to say one thing!!
  • LOVE: Baked gorgonzola crackers The dairy-free mochi (you got me hooked on that stuff!) Sparkling almond wine
  • Silk is DELICIOUS! I get the light chocolate (for the hubby) and the light vanilla (for my cereal). SO good!
  • Taco bell beef crunchy tacos or the ones from the fresca menu.
  • If I could afford it, I'd get one every DAY. Maybe twice a day..... But: they're rather pricey, so I usually get one-two a year. Last one was on honeymoon in August.
  • Totally! (Nice username, BTW. Is it homage to the 311 song by any chance??)
  • I bought a watch one with no strap and it was way off. Now I've got one with a chest strap and it's spot-on. You really need the chest strap to get an accurate reading. I have a Polar fT4. Love it. 90 bucks on Amazon.
  • I have something similar, but exercise usually isn't a trigger. I break out in hives on my neck and chest when I have any sort of blood pressure spike (nervousness, heavy laughter, crying, alcohol). It's really freakin' embarassing....I feel your pain. There's like, NOTHING they can do for it either.
  • You should make your diary public so that people can comment on what you're eating. Maybe something is counteracting your progress....
  • I smile real big and tell them how much I lost so far! Why not??? I'm working my *** off....LITERALLY! So I'm very proud of it. Part of me wanted to take offense, like, "Oh, does that mean I looked bad before?" So I thought about it, and I was like, "Obviously, and I thought so too or I wouldn't be here!" Just enjoy…
  • Since I'm a food addict (that's how I got to the point where I needed this site! LOL), I reward myself with eating some of the foods I once loved a little too much. At least twice a week I have a cheat meal. It's great now because a cheat meal doesn't have to turn into a cheat weekend...I've learned self-control! (Shopping…
  • Wow...great job!
  • Typically, the direction you wear your clothes tends helps out with that, too.... (FYI: I'm a 34 A and no one's ever called me out on "walking backwards" or anything. You'll be fine.)
  • Well, the first thing always to shrink on me when I start loosing weight are "the girls." I'm the opposite; I wish they'd stay bigger, but apparently, I'm just not meant for that. Don't really mind though because everywhere that counts is also shrinking. But yes, they will get smaller (at least in my experience, and I'm…
  • You look beautiful!!
  • I stop it as soon as I'm done the workout so anything else burned is an "added surprise"!
  • THANK GOD someone else said that! I thought I was the only person who felt that way (and I'm a pretty fit girl, but it was just NUTS! And boring, too, I felt).
  • Bigelow is delicious. I love their decaf French vanilla tea. A little Truvia and almond milk to sweeten it up? YUM!
  • Kick up and/or change your exercise. If you're eating more, you have to burn more to keep that momentum going. Everyone hits a wall at some point. Just keep at it and you'll see results eventually!
