I would still be with my hubs...all my children would be closer. I would still live in So. Cal but closer to the beach with a bigger house and moderate yard. I don't work and would keep it that way. Would love to travel more.

flaxseed oil...excited to hear this. I saw this thread and had to read as I have had IBS for over 10 years as well and was doing ok until I started this new change in diet. Stomach is a mess! I really empathize with you, it is frustrating and at times embarrassing. Seems like so many things set it off...thankfully don't…

Haha crap huh...people get hungry on fruit and vegies too for those not informed. If your hungry eat. Try to be healthy even if your easing into that style..you don't have to go cold turkey. Be realistic though...think about why you're making this change and assess your goals from there. He did say he had been cheating the…

I think it's funny...not funny haha but funny sad...when anyone attacks another person for their food choices. Whether it be a vegan, vegie, or meatie, or occassional junkie. We need to be healthy for sure and that varies from person to person. I eat meat because I am anemic and although the meat isn't curing the problem I…

I also started on here Jan. 21st and hit 20 lbs lost today  . My first week I lost 9 lbs but I had been eating terribly...all day, sweets, etc, so a change in diet makes a huge difference! I only weigh 173 now and am losing 2 lbs a week now so I assume it will take some time to hit my goal :grumble: . So while I'm…

A good bathing suit is going to cost a bit. It is definitely worth the price! I buy mine at Victoria's Secret but have also bought the Miraclesuit. As it has been said before, what makes you feel good and puts a smile on your face is the main thing here. Besides that, unless your a child, a swimsuit lasts more than one…

No cliche's here...but yes alot of people feel that way wether they admit it or not. How do you get past it....time goes by. It may get easier or it may not...but if you keep working at it you will definitely see the results that you are looking for! Don't get down just know that you are human and feelings/desires are a…

I have been blessed with the after children shape of being hippy :grumble: . So after 18 lbs I am still in my size 13's although looser definitely not loose enough to move to a smaller size.

When I first started this change in eating I was all in and then I realized that I have to make a life change that I can live with. For some people they can easily never eat so called 'junk' foods and be fine with that....well I love all food, nutritous and otherwise. I just have to be realistic in my portions and balance…

I'm not here to tell you that the pills are good or bad for you...you're a big girl and can make a conscious decision. I just want to tell you my experience. I was on the prescribed phentermine before and got to my goal weight. They will DEFINITELY give you energy which was good for me because I suffer from fatigue and…

Hello everyone . Just found this group and I am soooooo excited! I am 41 yrs old, 5' 6" and currently at 184 lbs. I was the twiggy kid in school growing up and started having weight issues after the birth of my 3rd child. Tried numerous quick fixes to lose the weight and always did...only to gain it back with…

I lost 9 lbs. my first week and am getting ready to weigh in tomorrow for my 2nd week...expecting a low number. I don't do conventional exercise, I'm just a fairly active person...am out and about alot, dance around the house to my music, etc. Be excited for the weight loss when it happens and if there are weeks that are…

I agree with travis. Just don't call it a cheat day. Just schedule one day a week where you let yourself log in extra calories. That's what I'm doing.

I have the same problem and have struggled with dehydration since I was a teenager. Meaning every few years I have to get IV fluids because I'm too dehydrated...and the rest of the time I ignore it. I've never been a big soda, coffee, tea, alcohol drinker so water is easy for me to commit to...it's just so boring :frown:!…

I'm new here but I'm glad you asked this question and after reading all :noway: the responses I think I will log my weight as I planned to every Monday morning come rain or shine or . Only because it will help me to see the trend and know my body better and that is really what I am here for. Hell yeah I want to be…

I feel bad for all the people who try all these things to lose weight. I know I have tried countless things over the past 15 years and I think we need to do our bodies a favor and do it right. Eat healthier and some form of exercise.

Alot of us do this....myself included. I have been on many diets, diet pills, and exercise routines. For me too it is a 100%, obssessing if you will, routine. I have to be totally wrapped up in it. Watching it on TV, reading about it, eating right, exercising, the whole 9 yards...no half way. I think it's the instant…
