I try to sick with somewhere in between 1g/lb and 1g/lbm, that gives me a goal of at least 100g day. I follow a 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carb diet and with that I can make my protein goals. I use a lot of greek yogurts, cottage cheese, egg whites, and an occasional protein supplement since I really only eat…

You most certainly did not gain that much weight in fat or muscle in two weeks. That would be an extra 17,500 calories of intake and it takes time to actually build muscle that will show on the scale. You are tearing muscle fibers when you lift heavy -that is a GOOD thing- so that they can rebuild and "grow". Your body is…

Love deadlifts. Cable pull-throughs, sumo, plie and goblet squats, hip thrusts with weight on a Swiss ball, weighted lunges and step-ups etc....keep increasing the weights as you get stronger.

However, if you are doing something more intense like HIIT or weight/strength training you'll be getting much more payout for your time and effort.…

I'm not going to say if I think it is "good" or "bad" but there are a number of things she may be considering that you haven't yet. If you are over the age of 50 your metabolism is going to be significantly different that you had at 25. She probably has taken into consideration your Lean Body/Muscle Mass in comparison with…

I allow myself a pizza day once a week. I order one slice of vegetarian with mushrooms, tomato slices, bell pepper, onion, olives, broccoli and spinach, and ask for 1/2 the amount of cheese. Its a veggie and fiber filled meal that has protein and makes me feel like I'm not depriving myself. Make alterations and you won't…
