Ours had foods that I shouldn't discuss, as it will make me crave things.... We're talking pizza (at EVERY meal), french fries, unlimited ice cream with tons of toppings, chicken fingers, cheese dip, macaroni and cheese....AKA heart attack waiting to happen. That being said, they had a lot of healthy options too;…

That's awesome! It's not instant gratification like the scale, but I think that's WAY more motivating when you can actually see yourself changing!

Avoid eating late at night. Once you've had dinner, STOP EATING! I probably found a lot of my excess weight at Taco Bell after midnight! Also, exercise, exercise, exercise! It's a great stress reliever, a good way to make new friends and a fantastic way to counteract any bad choices and enhance the good ones! I'd…

Awesome! That looks like a lot more than 11 lbs!!

I can't help with getting one in the UK, but I have a Polar T31. It cost about $100 at a sporting goods store. A little pricey, but SO worth it.

I've decided that the best way to start the weekend is with an intense workout! It really helps me to remember to keep on track on the weekend. Weigh in on Monday!

Ok. WHOA. I read that wrong! I thought you said you ate almost 12,000 calories in ONE DAY!! Hahaha. Now I understand. I was going to be a little impressed that you could shove that much in your body! I wouldn't worry about it. Watch your sodium levels and keep doing what you're doing. Stressing over it won't help. Sorry. I…

I planned out all my meals for today because after I get off work at 5pm, I have to work from 6:30pm-11:30pm! So I'm having Panera for dinner and just figured out how to alter my favorite choices to tone it down on calories, fat and sodium! Check out the panera website! They have a nutrition calculator and after altering…

Don't let your mind beat you up!! Just take it one day at a time. Whatever happened today won't matter tomorrow. You can do it!

I totally get that feeling. I have felt like a skinny girl trapped in a "fat suit" for most of my adult life. I think that's a good thing. Then when we finally reach our goals, so won't have a complex and think that we're still overweight. Finally our brains will match our bodies!

That's awesome! What a great birthday present!! Happy Birthday!

Are you eating too late at night? Try not eating anything after 7 or 8 pm. Then you're more likely to wake up hungry... Just an idea!

I just got 2 BEAUTIFUL Calvin Klein dresses in the mail as my 2 options for my Maid of Honor dress...5 weeks and 3 days to look smokin' in one of those dresses! P.S. I'm really loving the whole "pick out whatever dress you want as long as it's black" rule for choosing my bridesmaid's dress. No ugly bridesmaid dresses for…

I have never and will never cut anything out of my diet. I will eat oreos, hot dogs, cheese dip, etc, etc for the rest of my life...unless I decide that I don't like them anymore! I just don't let myself have them very often or in very large quantities. It's all about balance. If you tell yourself that you will never have…

Alright ladies...I just ordered a dress for my best friend's wedding on August 14th...it's probably a little too small, but it doesn't come in a bigger size. So I'm kicking it into HIGH GEAR for the next 6 weeks!! I WILL fit into that dress or die trying!

You go girl! That's the best way to combat those negative feelings. I've become a workout junkie. I feel so POWERFUL after a hard workout. So much better than sitting on the couch staring at the cupboards filled with things I shouldn't be eating! One more thought is to get a heart rate monitor. Mine cost about $100 at a…

Oh! EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE!! You can eat your exercise calories if you are still feeling hungry, but you don't have to as long as your getting 1200-1300 calories every day. I usually eat back some, but not all of my exercise calories (I stay around 1500-1600 calories on workout days. Use measuring cups and get a…

Ok. First of all, you shouldn't feel hopeless because you can always change yourself...it just might not happen as quickly as you'd like. What do you have your weight loss goal for per week? If you have it set for 2 lbs/week, (Good News!) you didn't go over your maintenance calories. In order to lose 1 lb per week, you…

Ok. This week's challenge is a mental one! Think positive AT LEAST 95% of the week. No "fat" comments No "shame on me" thoughts No "I'll never be able to do this" thoughts Only positive thoughts! If you do have negative thoughts, step back from the situation and think about it logically...Did you REALLY gain 5 lbs…

I'm really looking forward to this weekend! My husband and I work almost every weekend, but we decided to take this weekend off so that we could just relax and spend time together. I'm starting Medical School in less than 3 weeks, so this will be our last chance to fully relax and just be together! We don't have any big…
