I live in the south and I dispise running outside in the summer. I feel like I am dragging my body. I won't even do any 5ks until the weather gets cooler. But I may be a wimp too.

I try to prelog my food so that I can see the calorie amount and decide if I still want to eat it. There are also apps that you can use for eating out.

I boil it or steam it with squash. Just slice it up,add chopped onions,and salt and pepper for taste. Just add a little bit of water if you boil it because zuc/squash have a lot of water in them. I usually cook it until it's soft. Yummy! You can also grill them together. Very low in calories!

Thanks for sharing your experience and I'm hoping that things get better for you. I have plateaued for weeks now and did up my calories to 1400 with eating my exercise calories back. I gained two pounds so now I'm back down to my 1200 with eating my exercise calories back. I'm so confused that I don't know what to do.

Join the club.
