  • My left ankle hurt last spring after I began training for a 5k or at least I thought it was my ankle. It ended up being a tendon. I didn't stretch properly before I ran and ended up having to wear a brace on my foot for months. Now I always warm up! If it continues, go see an ortho. Hope you get back to running soon! :)
  • I've lost 12.5 since January and have been at the same weight for three weeks! I tried zig zagging.... didn't work. I run about 6 miles a week. I get so tired of "maybe that's all your body is going to lose" or "your fat is turning to muscle and muscle weighs more" I may try interval training......... I feel your pain!

  • I gave up cokes and white chocolate mocha's from Starbucks. I now drink water and skinny vanilla lattes when I do go by Starbucks. Everything else I use portion control. If not, I would binge big time.

  • I'm in the same boat. :( I read about zig zagging but I'm kind of scared to try it since I have been 1200 or under since Jan. I run everyday and stay at or under 1200 and nothing is happening. The 12.5 pounds came off very slowly. :(
  • Edited to add: 20 oz. (the hot-drink Venti size) of whole milk is about 370 calories... that means that the other 330 comes from the syrup/flavoring and whipped cream. Good grief!   • I've had a "bad" day before and lost weight that week. I go by my weekly average. If you have the app for the iphone, it's the middle tab on the home page. :bigsmile:
  • Don't give up! I had two weeks where I barely lost anything and then I had a 1.5 pound loss this week. :)
  • I always eat a small portion of what I normally would eat. If I didn't allow myself my treats, I would binge big time!!!!
  • I agree, it's trial and error. I was very grouchy at the beginning.:sad: I have also learned to not deny myself but to use portion control on things that I love to eat. I am a potatoes girl and I will allow myself to have a fraction of the total serving. If not, I know I will binge. :bigsmile:
