I also enjoy doing a variety of crunches everyday. My favorites are bicycle crunches. Just make sure to have proper form and if you are fatigued...don't do them anymore. That is when form is compromised and you can injure yourself. Plank exercises are awesome for building core strength too. There is nothing wrong with…

I agree with the above! I love salads so I eat them just about every day for lunch. I just discovered the Bolthouse Ceasar Parmigiano Yogurt Dressing and it taste soooo good! No nasty after taste like some of the fat-free or low fat dressings have. The ceasar parmigiano flavor has 45 calories and 3 grams of fat for 2…

Hubby and I have been together 20 years so we have been cuddling for a long time. When we were in college I had a single bed, so when he stayed over we had no choice but to cuddle. Now we have a california king and still enjoy our cuddling while watching tv...or you know... , but when its time to go to bed we…

Love Jillian here too! My favorites right now are No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. Sometimes I will do all three levels of the 30DS at once. Its a great workout and really shows how much stronger I have become since I started. Killer Buns and Thighs and Six Week Six pack are awesome too! You can find…

I love mexican food, so we have it often! One of the best "as seen on TV" purchases I ever made is those metal bowls that you put a flour or corn tortilla in and then you bake it in the oven to crisp it up. We had these last night using La Banderita - Whole Wheat Flour Fajita Tortillas. 1 tortilla is only 90 calories. I…

It really just depends on how quick I get up and get out to run in the mornings. Sometimes I am ok with some water and a cup of coffee. This morning I was hungry all ready, so I just had a couple bites of banana with my coffee. That was enough to get me through my run/workout.

You have received some great advice here!! I agree with the others about starting lifting. It has helped me lower my BF% and increase my muscle definition greatly. I don't lift at a gym, just what we have here at home. Squats and deadlifts are awesome for helping tone the back of the legs. You will not get bulky at…

I have been wearing tankini's for years and every summer I wanted to be able to wear a two piece again. Well this is the year and it feels…

I love any of Jillian's workouts. You can find several of them on youtube or vimeo.com for free. 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30 are only about 30 minutes. If you have 45 minutes Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones are really good as well

We went last year and walked sooo much we actually lost weight! We ate homemade Mickey waffles and bacon every morning in our condo, then I would pack up turkey wraps, slim jims, etc for us to snack on while we were at the parks. For lunch the 4 of us would share a huge Turkey leg, or a couple hot dogs and…

One of my favorite things to do is grill a lot of chicken early in the week, then cut it up for salads, wraps, etc each day for lunch. My kids love it too. I buy the big tub of spring mix at Sam's, lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, cabbage, zucchini, jalapenos, and etc and make huge salads almost everyday for lunch…

I agree with the posters above. That is how I lost 21 lbs and also handle maintenance. I know there are days I am going to go over b/c we go out to dinner, have friends over for dinner etc...so I try to balance it out by logging accurately and staying at a slight deficit the majority of the time to make up for those days I…

I am around 5'7-1/2" and 40 yrs old. ( I use to be 5'8", but I guess I shrunk somehow:laugh: ) Anyways, I started at 154 and am now 133. I have been in maintenance for a while and working on building muscle. The pictures that were posted above me are amazing!! Way to go!! You both have had awesome transformations! You look…

I agree with the above. I have been doing them with free weights and have seen a great improvement in my legs and bottom. I also love doing Jillian's Killer Buns and Thighs DVD. It really works your legs and bottom by doing a variety of squats, lunges, etc. Good luck!!

We made some banana muffins the other day and I just left the sugar out all together. We didn't miss it at all. The recipe was sweetened up enough from the bananas and vanilla greek yogurt. I also put a tablespoon of dark chocolate chips in there to help as well. Sometimes the recipe will require just good ole white sugar,…

I have had 2 c-sections too! I have seen great results from doing a combo of Jillian's DVDs, running and some strength training. It took me a while to get feeling back around the scar tissue, but I don't notice it as much anymore. My c-sections were 10 & 8 yrs ago. I remember the 1st one being so hard to recover from. The…

 I twerk on our back porch when we are playing music outside. We love using out back porch as a dance floor. Hubby was even giving his best shot at crumping over the weekend. Thankfully we have a private back yard so no one can see us. However...my twerk doesn't look quite like the girl in the gif...I sure do try…

I have always had a pretty flat stomach, but thanks to my Jillian DVD's and running, I really seeing my abs now! Even hubby commented the other day on them! My favorite Jillian…

Sounds like you could benefit by using a HRM, instead of relying on what the machines say. Also, if you don't have one already use a food scale. A food scale can really help you know what a portion size really is. That is great your check up went well at the Doctors. It all boils down to calories in vs. calories out. That…

There is no need to cut it out completely. You have to find a healthy long term sustainable balance that fits into your lifestyle. You can still have it, just make sure it fits into your calorie goal. There may be a random Friday night that you will go over b/c you had one too many, but even that is not going to derail…
