  • You say you do 30 minutes of cardio? Is that on a treadmill? walking? running? I used to do "cardio" on treadmills forever and I would maintain my weight, but never got the look I was wanting. Once I started doing workout DVD's that really pack a lot of exercises in a little bit I time is when I started seeing what I…
  • Your body needs sugar. Doesn't matter the form. Find a way to fit anything you like to eat within your calorie/nutritional goals. This will help you maintain your weight loss throughout your entire life.
  • Yes, same here. I love it when I look in the mirror in the mornings and can see more lines. I know if hubby and I had Mexican and a few beers the night before I might not look as lean. As long as I can see those good lines every now and then, I'm good. It's just your body's natural fluctuations. This is why I like using…
  • I love Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones. Both of those are great workouts.
  • I love tuna too. I recently started buying the canned Albacore tuna packed in water. It is so good. It costs a bit more than regular tuna, but has a really good flavor.
  • I have two pieces of Hershey chocolates everyday after lunch. Right now were are finishing up a huge bag of the Hershey eggs from Easter. They are so good. Dove also makes some really good varieties of individually wrapped chocolates.
  • I love the maroon one! It looks great on you!! It still shows a bit, but in a good way. I've never been a fan of the style in the first picture, but I am probably almost twice as old as you! You look great! Have fun!
  • Maybe the gym is not your thing. Have you ever tried any workout DVDs at home? There are some great videos out there that can burn a lot of calories quick. I also have a set of dumbbells I use at home to help get some type of lifting in. The gym is a great place but sometimes it's nice to mix it up a bit. Congrats on the…
  • I had 2 c-section 13 and 10 years ago. It is possible for it to go away. Like the PP said, a lot has to do with genetics and skin elasticity too. If you don't already, try to do some lifting. Lifting and HIIT training has worked well for me. Keep at it and it will get smaller.
  • I'm 43 and have had two kids (via c-section). I'm 5'8", 140 lbs and have visible abs. My obliques are visible even when I am not flexed. I can get some middle definition when flexed, but totally happy with my stomach and just try to maintain how I look now. I have been able to maintain this fairly easily for 3 years now.…
  • I agree with the others about recomp. I used to run and run and it just kept me at a good weight. It wasn't until I started lifting weights and doing HIIT workouts that I really saw the results I was wanting....and I am 42 with 2 kids for what that its worth. You look great OP. I just think you need a new workout routine…
  • I just remember it being sore initially and wearing a bandaid for a while. As it was growing back it wasn't sore at all. Just not very sexy as KrystinaMTL said.
  • yes, had the same thing happen to me last summer. I had bruising under the toenail next to my big toe and then eventually lost my toe nail. Thankfully it grew back. I joked around with my husband and kids that I should go get a pedicure and ask for 10% off since I only had 9 toenails.
  • If they are old enough, let them add some of the ingredients. Let them push the buttons. Put some ice cream in it for them and make a milkshake. They will love the blender then. ETA: or get a video of it and send it to Americans Funniest Videos and win 10,000.
  • Thanks for all of your responses. Its interesting to hear your experiences and opinions. Be safe!
  • My things with these is the reason they are called "lean cuisine" or "fit kitchen" is that they are so small. I am like the poster above. I would rather make my own homemade stuff and have a bigger portion. That being said, we do like them sometimes for late dinners when I didn't have time to make anything that evening. We…
  • @cricket490 - lol. yes I hear you about the pit bulls and the dogs. There was a dog I have never seen before on my run today that was outside. Thankfully he ran back up to his house. whew. Thank you all for the responses. The thought of cycling just sounds like fun. I love running, but there is only so far I can go. With…
  • We got an awesome little bluetooth speaker at Best Buy called "HMDX Hangtime". It's splashproof and hangs on your beachbag/cooler strap. The sound quailty is pretty impressive for how small it is. It doesn't play radio, but we use it with Pandora via our phones. We only paid 19.99 for it. HTH!
  • This is exactly why I wish I could do yard work and exercise without a shirt on like my husband does. I have a sports bra tanline on my back, but at least it looks good when I am wearing my bikini at the beach.
  • My husband does yard work without a shirt on. I wish I could. lol
  • I agree with the others, no breaks? That doesn't sounds legal. Anyways, I like to poach eggs in the microwave. I have a poacher that does two eggs at a time in about 1 minute. You can also get one of those bacon microwave things and precook a batch a bacon. Put everything on some toast with cheese and you got a quick easy…
  • Awesome transformation! Thank you for sharing the results with us. Very interesting. You look fantastic! Way to go my friend!
  • Ricotta cheese, spinach, cherry tomatoes with a lit bit of balsamic vinegar drizzled over the top. We grill these all the time. You can use fresh mozzarella instead of Ricotta, too. yum!
  • lol. too funny. My husband and I remember the first time we logged on the the "World Wide Web". I would say its vacation, just have fun, be mindful and enjoy yourself. You can continue logging when you get back. Have fun!
  • I agree with the others! You are running, so be proud! There are days I run fast, there are days I run slow. There are days I do a walk/run combo. Point is, your moving. Great job! Keep it up!
  • Bimini's Oyster Bar is one of our favorite places to go when we go to Myrtle. We have been going there for over 20 years. They have live music and awesome seafood. It can get pretty crowded in the summer, but its a great local hang out. It has a very laid back, fun atmosphere.
  • I was thinking more about this during my afternoon run. lol. Do you weigh your food? Maybe your under-estimating your calorie intake? It surprises me how much I can eat and still maintain. But, I am always busy. Either exercising, playing with the kids, cooking, cleaning, yard work, etc. I don't really sit down much other…
  • I was going to say the same thing. Maybe look at your macros and increase your proteins and fats. Try adding some type of snacks in between your three meals. Congrats on reaching your goals.
