Ricotta cheese, spinach, cherry tomatoes with a lit bit of balsamic vinegar drizzled over the top. We grill these all the time. You can use fresh mozzarella instead of Ricotta, too. yum!

Pizza sauce or sliced tomato, mozzarella and parm, your favorite pizza toppings or some basil

Crab, a little garlic, herbs, and breadcrumbs - squeeze of lemon

    Cut stems off big portabellas
place on baking sheet or oven dish upside down
melt earth balance or butter in a microwaveable bowl w fresh squeezed garlic or fresh chopped garlic
Mix and spoon into grooves of portabellas
Bake on 400 degrees until garlic becomes light brown and a bit crispy on top
Squeeze a half of lemon over all of them
So good, the top is a tad crispy and it insides of the mushrooms are moist and delicious

I like lasagna style - sometimes I layer turkey pepperoni, then ricotta, spinach, nyc3i5zqo0b3.jpg and top with marinara and mozzarella.

I remove the stem and degill them, coat with coconut or olive oil and garlic, heat through in a pan, then use them as replacement hamburger buns. It's actually pretty fantastic, as mushrooms are great fat sponges, and don't get soggy, unlike bread.

Veggie burger or normal burger. Either using the caps as buns or use it as the meat itself, top with veggies like you normall would and lettuce wrap it or use real buns.

    Chopped into soups.

Grilled stuffed mushrooms (pizzas, eggs and cheese, tomatoes and zuchinni...etc.

Bake an egg into them with your favourite omelette ingredients.
Turn them into buns for a burger/open faced sandwich
Stuff them with rice and beef like you would stuffed peppers.
