That is awesome you saw such great results! We are very similar. I give Jillian and her DVD's a lot of credit for changing my life, as well. I too lost about 10/15 lbs right before my 40th birthday and have kept it off for over a year now. I just finished workout 1 and the cardio dvd and loved it! Got a good sweat in. I…

Thanks again to all who have responded! I just received it in the mail and excited to get started. Suzikay12 ~ I agree about the exercise cable. I have never been a big fan of those either. I have one, so I may attempt it with them, otherwise I have read that you can modify the moves with weights. We see how that goes. I…

I really like Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I like alternating BFBM with No More Trouble Zones. Both are great workouts and a good mix of cardio and weights. Congratulations! Enjoy your honeymoon!

Love the 30DS! It's pretty much the DVD that helped motivate me to want to do more. I still do it on days where I need to fit in a quick workout. I have found that you don't burn that many calories, but if your just getting started its a great way to begin a workout routine. Stick with it and you will see your strength and…

41 here with two kids. I lost about 10/15 lbs right before my 40th birthday and have been maintaining for over a year. Even a quick 30 minute workout on days you feel like you don't have time is so important. Plus I love to eat, so I might as well love to exercise!

Thank you all for the feedback! Looks like it should be delivered today. I am excited to get started. I'll have to look up Body Shred too. I am interested to see how Phase 1 is. Not sure if I will skip it or not. I like how it will mix things up instead of doing the same thing over and over. That is pretty much what I have…

Opa Greek Yogurt Ceasar tastes really good. They also have a ranch that's good too. 35 calories & 3 grams of fat per tablespoon.

I think they use 3 lbs weights in the video. I like to have a few different sets of weight beside me when I do the workout. I use 3 lbs for some moves and then 5 for others. Good luck everyone! The 30DS is a great workout!

I love this DVD. Its one of my favorites. A challenge sounds great to me! I haven't done this particular workout in a while. I have been doing Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and 30DS lately, but would love to start this one on my rotation. When I was doing 6W6P last summer I would probably do it every other day, and then do…

Its great to see so many 40 somethings on here! I am 41 with 2 kids. I lost 15 lbs and have been maintaining for over a year now. I love to cook and eat, so I have to make sure I enjoy my exercising too. I've been using a variety of Jillian's DVD's, but currently looking for a new exercise program to change things up a…

Glad to hear so many are seeing results from T25. I was reading the reviews on Amazon and it looks really good. I am really looking forward to changing up my workouts. Keep up the good work everyone!

I would love to hear others experience with T25 too. I have been maintaining for a year using Jillian's DVD's, but would really like to do something different. I would love to start a new program, but just not sure what to do.

Baked Egg rolls. I made them last night and they were so good. I used ground chicken breast, but you could also use ground turkey. I added chopped cabbage, carrots, water chestnuts then sauteed everything with a little bit of soy sauce and cornstarch mixed together, then rolled the mixture up in the egg roll. This was my…

I like to weigh every morning as soon as I wake up. Its just part of my morning routine. I usually know it I am going to be up a bit or down depending on the day before. Weighing everyday helps me maintain.

One of our families favorite meals is Crock-pot Mexican Chicken. It is so inexpensive and easy. Just put a few chicken breast in the crockpot with a little bit of water, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cook for on low for 8 hours. Shred up the meat and let is soak up the juices. You can make hard or…

We love making a mexican type pork tenderlion in the crock pot for tacos. Just add a little bit of water, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Cook on low for 6 or so hours. Shred it up in the crock pot to let it soak up some of the juices and use it to fill flour or corn tortillas, then top with your…

Same here! We love to go camping. Its great way for the entire family to be "unplugged" even if its only for a couple days.

Just turned 40 earlier in the year. I lost about 15 lbs and have been maintaining at 135 (5'8") for 9 months. Feel free to add me. I love having friends with similar goals and family interests. Good luck on your journey! You can do it!!

yes! Love the 30DS! It is my go-to workout video. Just stick with it and you will see results and increased endurance, which will lead to you wanting to push yourself further. Today I did Level 1 & 2 back to back for a great quick workout. JM's got a lot of great videos. Good luck!

Just made my kids a ham, egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast this morning and it took all of about 5 minutes. We love our egg poacher. You can poach two eggs in less than 2 minutes. I always have some kind of meat, whether its bacon, sausage, turkey sausage, ham, etc... Pre-cook your meat when you have more time and heat…

Thanks for the recipe. We have made "pizza" using english muffins before, but never ciabatta bread. Putting this on my grocery list now! My kids are going to love it too! :)

about 15 years ago Hubby and I bought a 70's CD collection off of an infomercial late at night. We still have those CD's and listen to them all the time. We always laugh at how we bought them after having too many drinks one night.

Nachos at Epcot in Mexico are awesome! They were so huge it fed our family of 4. They have an awesome outdoor eating area by the lake. Can't wait to eat those again soon!

Brownie mix is added to my grocery list! My kids are going to love some pumpkin brownies!! :) Thanks for the idea!

I agree with the others. You cannot compare your height/weight with others. I lost about 15 lbs and have been maintaining at 135 (5'8") for about 8 months now. 15 lbs ago I was still within my healthy weight range for my height however, now that I am 15 lbs lighter I have reduced my body fat percentange (15%) and feel so…

Thank you for the recipe! We make a similar fried rice, but I have never thought to put cabbage in it. YUM! Sounds great!

To keep them light and not as dense make sure not to over stir. It releases the air out of the mixture and they will not be as fluffy. HTH!
-
My kids and I make this a lot. Just last week we made it in a bundt pan. I like to use regular vanilla cake mix. Instead of water we added about a 1/2 cup of sour cream and a handful of chocolate chips. After a few stirs we added a cup splashes of milk. It turned out really good! HTH!

That is a great idea as well! We always have a bottle of hot sauce to help spice up a meal but some homemade sauces would be even better! Thank you!
