40 yrs old 5'8" SW 150 GW 135 CW 134 Exercise - Average about an hour of exercise 6 days/week. I do at least one Jillian DVD workout 6 days a week. Then I either do another Jillian workout or jump on the treadmill for another 30 minutes, depending on time. Can't wait for warmer weather so I can get outside and exercise! I…

Here is a link on how to do the 30 day plank challenge. It also shows a little clip of a guy doing a plank. Proper form is the key. I like how it says you can do it as many times of the day as you would like. I am going to try this too. http://30dayfitnesschallenges.com/30-day-plank-challenge/ So glad there are so many…

I ordered one online last week...should hopefully get it in the mail today! I can't wait to see how much that ounce of cheese really is...or can I???:grumble:

Gustaff85 - great job on your personal record! That is awesome! :drinker: Glad everyone is going to join in. I thought printing it out and putting it on the fridge will help us stick with it and complete it. Good luck everyone!

I weigh every morning as soon as I wake up. I just like knowing how my body reacts to what I did or didn't do the day before. Friday we went out and had mexican and a few beers. I knew Saturday I would be up a few pounds, and sure enough...Saturday I was up a few...yesterday it went down a little bit and this morning I was…

Turned 40 in February! Feel free to add me too!

I say both! They are both awesome workouts! I have a lot of Jillian's workout DVD's and switch them around depending on how much time I have to workout or how I am feeling that day. To give you a better workout you can do them back to back as well. I do that a lot when I have more time. It makes for a great hour workout.…

I am going to have to try that recipe too! Looks great! We love to make our own pizza dough with ours too!

I would also suggest a to-go plate. Those portions are usually huge at those places...which is a good thing! Enjoy your dinner and have fun, but put the portion you don't eat in a to-go platter for a yummy lunch tomorrow. Enjoy your evening! :drinker:

Great job!! That is awesome! Keep up the good work!!

JMO, but I would go ahead and start level 2. You will work different muscle groups and continue to build strength and endurance. The 30DS is one of my favorite workouts. I have completed it but now, but find myself mixing it up and doing level 1 one day, then level 3, then maybe back to level 2, or the entire video at…

Hey everyone! I would love to hang with the cool kids!! Turned 40 in February and enjoying every minute of it! I hope everyone is having a fantastic Tuesday!

When you make pasta throw a few handle fulls in when the pasta is done. Let it sit for a minute before you strain the water out. HTH!

This is a great idea too! I sometimes use those lotions and most are not that great. How long does the spray tan last? Is there a type of spray tan that is better than others? Thanks in advance!!
-
Way to go! You look great!!!

lol! This is too funny! :drinker:  I agree!!

I have used it in the past, and it is good. I switched to Sanderson Farms, b/c the "generic" brand chicken breast at Wal-mart is injected with a sodium solution. If you look at the sodium content it is higher than some of the other brands. Its just a personal preference for our family. I like to decrease our sodium intake…

doing plank jacks and loving the way they feel! Nothing like feeling strong and fit! :drinker:

We love to make these vegan waffles. One of my kids had an egg allergy that they have since outgrown, but I still like to make waffles this way sometimes. This recipe can be used for pancakes as well. Sometimes I will put a little bit of oil into the mix to make the waffles a little bit crispier. You also need to cook them…

I just did all three levels of the 30DS at the same time! That was a great 60 minute workout! :drinker:

My profile picture is when I switched to maintenance. When I took that pictures I was about 140 at 5'8", that was probably about 2 months ago. I am now 134 and can see more muscle definition and still working on toning. I am now working on not really losing anymore weight, but building muscle. I have another picture in my…

We are having Reuben Sandwiches with a side of cabbage and homemade macaroni and cheese. I made a corned beef brisket in the crockpot last night, so Reubens are a great way to use up the leftovers. I will also have some green beers in a frosty mug for me and hubby when he comes home from work! :drinker: Happy St. Patty's…

My vote would be for both as well! On your off days of the 30DS, jump on the Elliptical. If you have some extra time after completing the 30DS, then hop on the Elliptical for an additional 10, 20, 30 minutes...whatever you have time for. I have been doing the 30DS, plus the treadmill and have had great results. I am a huge…

Cheers to all the hot and healthy people over 40!! :drinker: I just turned 40 and its feeling really good! Hubby and I have been together 20 years and have 2 wonderful kids!! Its so inspiring to see so many awesome 40+'ers!!

yes! good point! I compare brands too and it is amazing how much sodium is in that "natural solution" they inject the chicken with.
-
yes, it fine to eat. Like the poster above said...if it fits in your daily goals, then go for it! I have been watching my sodium intake a little bit more so I also like to baked chicken breasts, then slice them really thin to make my own "deli meat" for sandwiches or wraps. Before baking I sprinkle with garlic powder,…

yummy! All of that sounds great! I was thinking large portobello mushrooms with caramelized onions, melted swiss cheese, fresh spinach and avocado slices. For some spice, some fresh jalapeno would be great too! Maybe some crispy bacon slices for a little taste of meat. Have fun!! :drinker:

I just purchased some Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese at Walmart yesterday! Maybe that would work! I can't wait to taste it. The brand is Green Mountain Farms. Serving size is 2 Tbsp Calories 60 Total Fat 3g Sat Fat 2g Cholest. 10mg Sodium 85mg Total Carb 3g Fiber 0g Sugars 3g Protein 4g I have not tried it yet, but I am going…
