  • I highly recommend checking out babycenter.com. There is a wonderful community of women there and lots of different forums and support groups. It can be a great source of information during and after your pregnancy. Best wishes to you and your baby!
  • Thanks for posting this! I need to try this in the crock pot soon! I made a similar recipe but added brown rice and great northern beans in with the meat to up the protein and fiber and lower the fat per portion. I used 93/7 ground beef. This is one of our family favs! My kids love it too!
  • For my hubby: golf, a homemade dinner, beer & sex. Maybe not in that order tho! edited to add beer
  • Thank you SO much for the replies everyone!! I am going to look at these links and videos today! Looking forward to purchasing the kettle bells too! I have free weights I could use, but using the kettle bell will help mix up my workouts a little bit! Thanks again!!
  • Day 8 Level 3 today!! I felt so good I also did Day 1 Level 1 for Ripped in 30. Very similar, but there were some different exercises involved. Keep it up everyone!!
  • Thanks for posting! I am going to have to give this a try! My kids will love this too!
  • I guess it depends a lot on your goal. I try to do it at least 5 days a week, and then on days when I have time I add in 20 minutes or so on the treadmill afterwards. Sometimes I just feel like I need that extra cardio. It is a great quick workout, so if that is all you have time for some days...go for it!!
  • This looks fantastic! I am going to make this soon! Thank you!!
  • I am a Mama of 2 and I still have a stuffed monkey named "Funky" that I got when I was 4. She looks great for a 36 yr old stuffie!
  • I was getting ready to say the same thing...instead of a cheat day...have a "cheat meal". If I know we are going to eat mexican one night, I just eat smart for breakfast and lunch and then enjoy my dinner with no guilt. You have to find a healthy balance. I don't really like the term "cheat day". Try to make healthy…
  • Day 7 Level 3 today! I took a break for a few days, so it felt good to get back to it! Keep up the good work everyone!!!
  • I suggest the gummy vitamins too! I take 2 Alive gummies everyday, along with a calcium, and B-12...all in gummy forms. Maybe you could find a gummy strictly for iron. When I would take the tablets, they would irritate my stomach too.
  • Have you tried warm green tea or warm chamomile tea with a touch of honey. They can be very calming after a busy day. I enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer on occasion, but have found that warm tea is great too! HTH!
  • woohoo! Way to go everyone! I am on Level 3 Day 6 right now and it is feeling really great! I can see myself toning up! Keep up the good work!!
  • Cheers to all the HOT Mamas!! :drinker: You guys look great!! My kids are 9 & 6 and I enjoy being a fit and hot Mama (almost 40 yrs old in a few weeks)! Plus my Hubby likes me being a hot Mama too!  I only gained 25 - 30 lbs with my 2 and the weight did steadily drop off with breastfeeding. I had 2 c-sections…
  • Its great to see so many others doing the 30DS! I am on Day 4 Level 3 and feel great! I feel myself getting stronger everyday! It really is an awesome workout! Good luck everyone!!
  • Wendy's has a great grilled chicken sandwich, also their chili and baked potato is a great option too.
  • Day 4 Level 3 today! Then 25 minutes on the treadmill! Still a little sore, but feel great!! I hope everyone else is doing good!!
  • a cold Bud Light for me and hubby. Its so cold here I was thinking about just putting them outside instead of the fridge
  • I did day 3 Level 3 this morning boy are my thighs sore!! There is a lot of jump training in Level 3 that is pretty tough! It burns, but I feel so good once I done! Good luck everyone!!
  • This is a great idea! Back in my 20's I worked in a small office where it was me and one other lady that shared the women's bathroom. I left hand weights in there and would do arm exercises everytime I had to go. My arms were in the best shape! I think I will start doing this again! Thanks for the reminder!
  • I hope you feel better soon from your surgery! I am on day 3 of level 3 and WOW! Its pretty tough! That jump training is no joke! My thighs are so sore!
  • yes, Its great! They have lots of different forum or community groups from the month your baby is due, to different health issues etc. Its great for after the baby is born too! I hope you find it helpful!! Glad to help!
  • I started with a goal to lose 15 lbs, but adjusted my goal to 10lbs. I am pretty happy at 140 (5'8"), but would love to lose 5 more pounds if I can. At this point I think its more toning than losing weight....so if toning can help me lose a few more pounds that would be great! Best of luck to everyone!!! :drinker:
  • Have you ever been to Babycenter.com? you may find more women in a similar situation as you there. I loved that site when I was pregnant with my children. Good luck and best wishes with your pregnancy!!
  • When I was in my 20's it was more about looking good. I will be 40 in a few weeks so now its about being healthy, active, looking good and feeling confident.
  • My last c-section was 7-1/2 years ago and I have no issues with my scar area anymore. For the first few years I could feel a pain and numbness around the scar, but that has gone away. I guess it just takes time for that area to heal after going through all that muscle tissue etc. Good luck and I hope it feels better soon!!
  • I agree stick wih the one you have and also go by the way your clothes fit.
  • This is my favorite appetizer of ALL time!! We make these often! That are so good and so simple! I say the hotter the better! I add some grated sharp cheddar cheese to the tops for the last 5 minutes or so. yum!! When we have friends over I also stuff mushrooms with the sausage/cream cheese mixture for those that don't…
  • I would think that if it is a blood clot you would have swelling around your ankle and foot. Hopefully you just pulled a muscle and it should get better in a few days. I pulled a neck muscle one time doing the 30DS and it hurt for a few days. Just try to do some stretches while its healing and also make sure to stretch…
