Use the liquid egg (sounds gross), but you can make an omlette with it. Add meat - i.e. turkey bacon. Lower in fat - good protein. I'm eating 1200 calories on average, some days higher, some lower. I do watch my carbs though and eat very clean. I will eat carbs in greek yogurt, veggies, fruits and nuts. I have about 15 more lbs to go to be at the high weight for my height and I'm losing on average 1.8 lbs a week. I do pilates two days a week and try…

Controlling how many and what type of carbs I have. For me this works.

I find limiting my carbs helps, but that's me. Change up your diet. Look at the eat more weigh less threads they may offer some suggestions. Good luck!

I'm 51. I watch my carbs. It's the only thing I've found so far that let's me drop the weight. I also started doing Pilates which I'm really enjoying. It's helping with my core muscles as well as the others. The instructors are great and they will help me modify if my lower back is bugging me.

I am 51 and know how you feel. I had problems losing as well until I tried the 17 day diet. It's low carb. I'm not following it a strictly right now, but I am doing a low carb on MFP. I do low carb for a bit then a couple of days with carbs and then back down again. I have oatmeal as a carb. You can change your percentages…

Add some healthy oils. It's what I just started to do. I had the same problem that I couldn't eat my 1200 calories.

I found the only way that I could do it was with eliminating carbs like bread, pasta, etc. and anything refined i.e. sugar. I also try to eat my carbs before 2:00.
