  • For those times when I am so thirsty I could drink the bathtub what I usually do is mix a little bit of fruit juice with water and a little pinch of salt and it usually takes care of the issue (don't have a very high sodium diet), or here is a recipe for home made gatorade like drink: 1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid or…

  • Add tilapias to this weekend's shopping list... Check! Thank you for the idea! seems silly but for some reason as I get more and more cautious about my diet I start to forget all the variety of lean proteins out there!
  • Thank you for the link.
  • I have taken it in the past but for mood management and not for weight loss... I can tell you that on the days I took it I seemed to have more energy but don't know if it was as a result of not being as depressed. As far as controling my hunger, it is not that I was less hungry but more like I didn't do all the emotional…
  • Good job! It's not a small thing at all. You took control of your self and did not let the impulse win over and that is huge in my book :flowerforyou: Now you can feel really good about NOT having had the blizzard instead of feeling bad the rest of the day for having it!!!

  • My cheat day is when I can have a chocolate cake or ice cream or a nice blue cheese burger without worring about it. It makes temptation easier to resist during the rest of the week because I can tell my self I will just have it on cheat day! It is usually Saturday or Sunday, depending on what I'm planning for the weekend.…
  • The info for your tilapias before or after cooking? How big of a portion? I'm on a 40-30-30 (or try to be) and want ideas for lean protein. Thinking Tilapias might add some variety to my diet. :)
  • I eat an egg every morning for breakfast. I love them! I tried just the egg whites and they are ok too but I really like the egg yoke so now I use 1 whole egg and add extra egg whites to make it equivalent to 2 eggs breakfast :)

  • Today it's my day 12 and I love it! (I started on a Sunday instead of Monday so I'm off by a day) It feels insane at times but I am already noticing improvement in how much I can keep up. Can't wait to see the fit test results next week!
  • The Fiona has my vote. I'm also a 34D and was looking for something that would be comfortable to wear and wouldn't smash my girls together into one. Got it at my local Fleet Feet store but if you go to the moving comfort web site you can find a store that carries them so you can try it before buying. One of the things I…
  • It's happening to me too... I lost 3 lbs the first week after I joined Jan 7 and then nothing! I feel a little smaller though and I think with the working out I'm gaining muscle and my body fat went down 2% also... just gonna have to keep on until the muscle I'm gaining starts burning the fat!
  • I want to start screaming (and slapping fools around) every time people who have not seen me in a while (we are talking YEARS here) come up to me and the first thing that comes out of their mouth is "Oh my, what happened to you? Last time I saw you you were so small and fit! You used to have a really nice body!" or "Wow,…

  • So glad you asked this question. I usually have to use my regular bra under the sports bra to keep myself from bouncing all over the place!
  • I just searched "thomas whole wheat mini bagel" and the first option that popped up (thomas-100% whole Wheat mini bagels)shows 120 cals for 1 bagel (43g). When you do the search make sure the serving size they show is the same as what you are looking for (2 bagles vs 1 bagel) and if it isn't just change it to half a…

  • great info! thank's
  • I sometimes check raw ingredients against the nutrients listed in this website http://nutritiondata.self.com/ For things I cannot check I look at several MFP entries and try to guess on the one that seems more appropriate.
  • How awesome is that!!! Kudos to both of you :) :drinker: I am sure shock and awe will not even begin to describe the next time he lays eyes on you!!
  • Nice!!!!
  • sounds good! Gonna have to try it tomorrow morning.
  • This works for me as well. Try a couple different brands of protein too and see if you find one that has better flavor. I use Designer Whey, pricier than most and with less protein g's per serving but also very tasty (I have actually mixed it with a glass of warm FF milk as a treat and added no other flavors and it tastes…
  • A friend lent it to me and I LOVE it, so much that I am going to purchase my own because I really don't want to give it back! It is definitelly challenging and at times insane but if that is what you ar elooking for then I would definitely recommend it. I usually find workout DVDs to be boring and a bit bland and this is…
  • How can you ever get tired of chocolate peanut butter??? Vanila and chocolate are also my flavors. Sometimes I will make fruit flavored ones and use the recipes tool to play with the amounts to get the right amount of calories (Carb/Protein/fat ratios). Some of the flavors I have tried were pina colada with…
