A selection of freshly picked berries, a perfectly ripe mango, a platter of vegan sushi from Salon De Sushi, shredded cos lettuce with a dressing of apple cider vinegar, nutritional yeast and herbs and to drink a Red Dragon Living Elixir Turmeric Ginger Beer. I'd still try to eat healthy even if I was about to die, as it's…

Hello everyone! I have been doing Aerial Hoop for 6 months now, and have only performed once, so I'm still a beginner :) I attend a weekly class and also have my own set up at home (which I've mentioned in previous posts). I'm working hard on trying to be the best Aerial Hoopist I can be and see where that takes me. I love…

It was a success, we attached the hoop to my dining room plaster ceiling with the added extra support beam inside the roof cavity. You can see me in my profile pic on it! <Yay!! Also I had another idea for rigging outdoors in spring/summer, until I can afford a proper Aerial Outdoor rig, I'm gonna buy some sturdy…

Yep I do cardio, I normally aim to do every second day in between strength training, so I try to alternate cardio day, strength day, cardio day, strength day etc Usually I prefer an hour at the gym with 10 mins on each cardio machine, bike, treadmill, stairmaster, rowing machine, elliptical and double on one. That's just…

As a woman It's super empowering, knowing that you are getting stronger and yep there is definitely a high, the endorphins buzzing, a euphoric feeling afterwards, it truly feels amazing. Plus you get a lovely shapely firm muscular athletic body rather than a smaller but still wobbly one. I don't wanna be "skinny fat"…

Things that helped me with Aerial Hoop: I did 1 hour to 1.5 strength training every second day for 8 months (and still do now) leading up to starting Aerial Hoop classes. I'd definitely recommend owning a pull up bar for anyone wanting to do Aerials- One of the ones that slots into your door frame is Awesome. Practise…

Thanks for the info! Nice set up! Wish there was some already existing beams for me to attach to but no such luck I'm afraid. Yeah that's what I'm afraid of! Suddenly pulling through and crashing to the floor and breaking my neck eep! Well at least my ceilings aren't that high so it's not far to fall and I'm going to have…

Yay! I go to classes once a week, but really want to be able to practice daily at home to speed up my skillz. Oh cool! Looks like a nice tall one! Would LOVE one of those but it'll take a while to save up for one at the moment. Hopefully by the time is summer here I'll have enough saved :D The hoop in your basement, how is…

Hi! I've been doing Aerial Hoop for 11 weeks worth of classes, once a week, I've found it has definitely made a difference to the way my body looks and feels for the better. Though that is in conjunction with eating healthy, using MFP, working out at the gym 5-6 days a week alternating between cardio and strength training…

I'd recommend staying away from the diary, eggs and bread. And definitely exercise more, harder and longer to be able to eat more. Drink LOTS of water to stay full. Dehydration can feel like hunger. Try looking into some healthy vegan recipes with heaps of fruit, veg, nut, seeds, legumes. :) Switch bread for raw crackers.…

I think it's a good idea to report anyone who seems to be pro ana and try not to encourage their behaviour. The more we all promote healthy lifestyles, the more likely people will be influenced positively :)

Patterned leggings, shorts, and a fitted t shirt with a cute design. Everything very colourful. I find I feel more motivated to go out and work out if I like my outfit :) gives me a little confidence/mood boost. Frumpy overly comfy clothes make me feel like staying home and being lazy haha.
