  • Can you tell me how they have been appropriate or helpful? They have been bashing what I am doing and somewhat downright rude. I was asking for useable feedback from people who have done the cleanse. Not asking to be told not to do it or that I am wasting my money. I can make my own decisions about what I choose to do or…
  • I'm not sure why I even use the forums...there is not much encouragement or support and most people seem snide or combative unless you agree with them. Thank you for the few useable responses I received. They are much appreciated!
  • Once again thank you, I appreciate your feedback but I don't think your feedback is useful or neccesary to me. Thanks again!!
  • I guess I was asking more for support from people who have tried the cleanse, etc. Not negativity about whether or not any one particular person feels if it is neccesary. Thanks again though.
  • Okay thanks. Not quite sure what your point is but thanks for the feedback
  • I weigh 255 and am 5'7" I do 45 min of cardio and 20 min of strength traning 5 days a week at 5:00 a.m. I for one feel extra energized after my workouts. I eat 1600 calories a day and will sometimes eat 100-200 of my exercise calories back. I would make sure you are getting plenty of sleep at night and not working out to…
  • Raeanne is a beachbody coach...
  • I do the same thing and I save it in my notes each day. I do calories in - excercise calories - BMR calories and that is what I use for my defecit. I know it is just a rough number but I like to be analytical about it as well, LOL. Also, I use my "sedentary" BMR, not my calories burned from daily activity so I would assume…
  • I use it in pumpkin chili, pumpkin soup, and add it to steel cut oats in the crockpot. I also use it in my smoothies in the morning. I use 4 tablespoons of pumpkin, half a banana, and 1 Tbls of honey :)
  • I think that is a VERY good choice...I have always heard that eating below 1200 calories will stall your weight loss because your body thinks it's starving. If you are working out you would probably do better around 1500 calories but I think you should up it to 1300 and see how that goes for you for a couple weeks. Good…
  • Mine keeps weighing once or twice and then flashing "Batt" but I have changed the battery already so I think it is the scale, lol.
  • I am not sure where you are living so your cost of groceries might be higher than mine but here are some ideas: -Rotiserre chicken...you can eat it as is or cut the meat off and use it for wraps, salads, or sandwhiches. I pay $5.00 for one at Wal- Mart and use it for my lunches for the week. -Ground tukey - one pound will…
  • Feta is really not that bad...I think it is 90 calories for a 1/4 cup? I make a delicious salad using spring greens, feta cheese, craisans, and grilled chicken with raspberry vinegerette dressing that is not very high in calories. There is a "low-fat" version of feta that is fewer calories but I think if you are looking…
  • I have the Polar FT4. I bought it off of Amazon.com for around $80.00. I love it. It has a very comfortable chest strap and the watch is very easy to use and hold several training files. This morning the treadmill at the gym said I burnt 123 calories and the HRM said 217...I usually subtract about 50 calories just to be on…
  • Great idea but the only problem is that the gym "technically" doesn't open until 5:00 a.m. but they will usually open the doors at 4:45...if it is a day that they are not opening until 5:00 that would only give me a strict half hour to workout and I was hoping to at least get in 45 min
  • I drink Shakeology every morning for breakfast and love it. I no longer have to take a mutli-vitamin because it covers everything. I do take iron and calcium still though. I like it because it helps cholesteral and my father passed away from a heart attack at 42 so I am super concious about that. It is also supposed to…
  • Olive Oil, gaucamole, salmon, cheese, olives, proscuitto
  • The grilled thai shrimp skewer looks like a good choice  Do you like seafood?
  • La Tortilla Factory from Wal-Mart have low carb/hiber and whole grain white tortillas that taste very good and are full sized (even my kids like them) and they are only 80-100 calories. I would also saute some peppers and throw them in there with some tomatoes and then load it up with salsa and gaucamole. Yum! Now I am…
  • Gol: 128 oz. Finished: 16 oz, working on 24....9:13 a.m. here
  • I have PCOS and have been prescibed metformin - 500 mg three times a day. I haven't been great about taking it because it has made me nauseous and given me "stomach problems". Has anyone else on Metformin expierienced this and if so what did you do to rectify the situation??
  • Actually I got the La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat White ones that are made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (they are the only ones I found at my local Wal-Mart but from looking at their website they have quite a variety available) ...sometimes the flat-outs taste to gritty for me. They actually have 13 grams of fiber and 8…

  • Thanks for the great ideas everyone!! I had scrambled eggs with a little cheese and salsa this afternoon along with cantaloupe. Yummy, filling, and under 400 calories!
  • I have mine set for a new pair of pants at 20lbs or a new pair of shoes at 10lbs, and then I chose three major mini goals (30, 60, 90 lbs) and have bigger items for them such as a mani/pedi, hair cut and colored, 1 hour massage, new wardrobe. Good luck!! The rewards are the best part, lol. :) Tiffany
  • Uh, yes you should be eating more. Your body is going to go into starvation mode and begin to lower your metabolism and hold onto fat. Everything I have read says you should not be netting less than 1200 calories a day. Example is you eat 1500 and burn 700 you should eat 400 of those calories back. Good luck!! Tiffany
  • I like Just Dance, Wii Zumba, and Gold's Gym Cardio Boxing. They are all super fun and get you burning lots of calories!
  • I usually do a salad with mixed greens, light feta cheese, dried cranberries, shredded or diced chicken and low fat raspberry and walnut vinegarette dressing (Newman's Own). The protien from the chicken keeps me full and you can use a lot of mixed greens because they are very low calorie (almost no calorie) and it is just…
  • Eggs are great because they are full of protien and will keep you full for a long time...even if you could just make a bunch of hardboiled eggs at the beginning of the week to eat for breakfast with a glass of milk, or scrambled eggs with a piece of toast. :)
