This crosstalk in here was hard to follow at first... but fun LOL. @rchupka87 - i would say 24 but the math (guessing 87 in the name is birthyear) says 25?

My coach ramps up and tapers off my training about 4 weeks before competition. I take it easy in my personal workouts to avoid over-fatigue and to minimize chance of injury. Up until that time, I train my weaknesses because once i am in my 4 week window i don't absorb new strategies, i am just perfecting my current ones…

Obviously I am a huge fan of this, not just in the gym and not just from women (happily married and she is tattooed as well). People with large amounts of work usually spent a lot of thought, time, and money to exhibit lifelong art. i dont like talking about what people should or shouldnt be doing in the gym, everyone is…

woohoo! go Kayla Harrison, Steven & Diana Lopez, and USA Basketball !!!

military gym. happily married, but in my opinion the females are a solid 8, body types vary and i am a sucker for a pretty face. if i were the type to judge dudes (and i am i guess), i would put us at 7.5 tops (the air force doesnt exactly produce physical specimens for use in war).

Great job everyone!

my apologies for being long-winded, i just figured in the Six Pack Support Group i should make a point to help beginner's understand the body fat "hurdle" is the highest... and then ab routines are next. To consolidate my post regarding just abs: -9 sets of 11 hanging left lifts (during my various calisthenics), once a…

From the info you provided, it sounds like changing your body fat percentage is the goal. For people above their goal weight, 27% means they can stand to lose "X" number of pounds in fat. For you (sitting at your goal weight), this means that your lean body mass % must go up and fat body mass % must go down.... replacing…

Isolated ab workouts are NOT the key to a 6-pack. The key is lowering body fat percentage. Abs will generally begin to show at approx 12% body fat. That is done through proper calorie counting and FULL-BODY WORKOUTS targeting major muscle groups. Isolation excerises should be the LAST step in developing any body part. If…

Great advice. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is also one of the more low impact grappling arts (vs Judo or Wrestling). During intense sessions, a very good workout can be had without the fear of blunt force trauma due to errant (or precise) punches/kicks/throws/slams. A great introduction into other combat arts. As far as TKD…

Original belt system created by Judo founder Jigaro Kano. There was only white and black, simply because those were the colors of kimono obi (and later judogi). When the judo gi became standard uniform for the art, there were only white belts and black belts. (FYI - for judo purists, this is still the standard. all white…

It has been beautiful hasn't it?! Today is a little gloomier than the last few days...but I just got back from Denver and it is BLISTERING! The snow was nice though... in fact, i may start a thread about skiing in NC, asking if anyone has gone before and what it is like here on the east coast...

PUBLIC. Target is 1500-1800, but I don't always hit it. I eat multiple meals. ***One thing I do to prevent bad food choices: I pre-log a meal plan for the day. That way I know exactly where I am, and if i feel like switching food choices, I can easily make an informed decision. Pre-loggin has kept me on track for the most…

COLLAR BONE! I have my chest/back/sleeve on my left side of what will become a japanese body suit... and my collar bone was the most excrutiating BY FAR! after many hours under the needle, this spot is the only spot where i wanted to quit or at least take a break. my elbow ditch and ribs were pretty bad but sufferable...…

the small (in comparison to other sports arenas) venues really transfer over into how much the tv audience hears. this can be great for back-and-forth action-packed cards because you can really hear the fans going crazy... but it is kind of a turn-off when the hometown crowd is rallying against a fighter. maybe its because…

Special K Sea Salt Cracker Chips 30 chip = 110 cal 3g fat 0 cholesterol texture/consistency kind of like PopChips (some flavors of which are also decent hidden treasures) but flavored differently. i like these though because the flavor is more muted and i use them instead of tortilla chips with salsa. there are no real…

i have both... and I TOTALLY SUGGEST THE KINECT! first of all (depending on the fitness game you buy), the technology is so advanced that it can actually detect your form. the game can help correct any mistakes! also, since it is a full body detection, dance games are so much more of a workout than the Wii counterparts. so…
