  • I have been leaving myself 500 to 600 calories for dinner, which includes a glass of wine. I used a different BMI calculator to lose 1 pound per week, and i'm eating nearly 1400 calories per day and not the 1200. i kept failing with 1200.
  • What kind of smoothies have you been drinking? If you're making them yourself, I'm sure you're fine. But if you're buying from Jamba juice, then 1 smoothie can contain 1/3 your daily carb intake. Could you start doing a mix of veg and fruit smoothies? Vegetables are a lot less calories and carbs than fruit.
  • I'm 5' 2" and entered into the site that I want to lose 1 lb per week. I also got a 1200 net calorie goal. It only works for me if I spend 200-300 calories exercising. Otherwise, I exceed the goal. I've only been at it a week, so I can't really tell what i've lost. So far less than 1 lb, i think.
