Probably no big secret, but I use low sodium, low fat cottage cheese in lieu of a salad dressing.

Right with ya honey! SOO shocked that I am not able to fit into my old pants. How can this be?? I ate spinach for God sake!! But you will get there. It is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. Sorry you had a rough day, but that woman you see in your head is in there. Keep at it and she will come out soon!

Was feeling the same way. Had a very bad lunch with over 2800 of sodium......and then chased it with a sucky dinner of tater tots and fishsticks. TOM was last week. NO excuse, just happened. You will get em tomorrow!!!!! Shake it off!!

My son saw that girl from Glee showing her belly. He turned and looked at me and said "mommy, your belly does not look like that. Your belly is wiggly". HA!!! All I could do not to tell him it was his damn fault!
-
Hey everyone that is doing it! Do you record it as 20 minutes of circuit training or 25??? I have seen both on here.
-
Hi! I am doing the $9.47 one from Walmart. I think it is the same thing. You need hand weights (2-3 pounds) too. She also recommends a mat for hard surfaces. I do it on the floor no problem. I find it a hell of a work out for the time frame. There is a debate over time....whether it is 20 or 25 minutes. I am bumping to…

Bumpin for great ideas!
-
Bumping on yours so I can see the answer. I am very curious.
-
Bumpin to find out the answer. I just started Shred this weekend.

I am with you though Fattygirl. OBSESSED with the damn thing. I hear all those skinny ***** celebrity people saying "I don't own a scale". I always thought they were on crack. BUT, when I was doing Zumba three days a week, I was complaining because I did not lose hardly any weight and a lady in there said she only lost two…

I just started it on Mother's Day. It is great because it is short, but powerful. I am sweating my butt off and sore the next day.

Sounds like a good plan. When I started MFP on Jan 3, I was at 1200. Lost 2.2 pounds in 60 days. !!!!! So, of course, I quit. Started back up two weeks ago at a higher calorie count (1350) and lost 2.6 pounds so far. It does not make sense to me psychologically, but it works!
-
I agree. I was at 1200 and lost 2.2 in 60 days. Ticked me off. Could not maintain my weight that well if I tried. Switched to 1350 and lost 1.8 just last week. Especially if you are working out as much as you are. Your body might think it is starving. Believe me, adding calories was the LAST thing I wanted to do....but…

Can only talk about my experience, but I have been back on the pill for a month now. Just started (again) MFP last week, and lost 1.8 pounds. According to scale, I am on track for positive things this week too. I too was scared about gaining, but so far, so good. Friend me if you want and we can do our own science…

bumping on yours because I feel like I don't get it either. Good luck girl!
-
Beyond excited if you guys are right! Been eating 2 oz cooked, which is like.....three noodles! :)
-
bumping because I want to know that too. Was just complaining to my hubby that pasta weighs more than chicken!
-
Tagging on yours because I am not quite sure either!
-
Bump!
-
Thanks for the post! I was doing the 1200 calorie thing for three months and lost 2.2 pounds. WTH!!! Just upped my calories as well and hoping for some quick results. Good luck!
-
Hey Emily! Right there with ya girl! Just started back up today. We can do it!!!
-
I am tagging on yours because I just opened the Zumba box. Waiting to see what answer you get!
-
You got it!!
-
I am tagging on your page so I can see your responses. I have been at this since Jan 3 and so far have lost...wait for it......2.2 pounds. While I am glad I am not gaining, not exactly happy with the results. Hang in there girl! We can do this.
-
I am probably not the one to ask since I have lost 1.4 pounds since starting this.....but want you to know you are supported. Do NOT quit! You NEED to do this for your daughter. I, myself, and working for my son. I would be perfectly happy eating McD's and sitting on my *kitten*.....but he needs me to be healthy. Couple…

I walk in place when doing dishes. Also, when my son is watching one of his dvds or shows, I plug in his portable dvd on other side of room and do my exercise dvds. That way he is not left unattended, I can still interact with him, AND I get in a workout.
-
Interesting. I had mine out last year. Waiting to see what everyone thinks.
-
Oh honey, I feel your pain. I have been in the same boat.....and the same history. SOO hard not to revert back to the previous ways that were working (although very unhealthy). Just hang in there! Maybe try varying your calorie counts. I hear zig-zagging is helpful to get weight moving again. When I sent out my 'help me!"…

A.M. for sure....and naked! Weight goes up as the day goes on, depending on what you ate/drank/how your body holds fluid/etc.

What is this BUMP everyone keeps talking about??
