Probably not the person to be giving ANY advice.....but I was in the same boat as you. I upped my calories and lost 1.4 that week. Some people were just not meant to be at 1200.

Great job on the attitude!!

Just so everyone knows, this is my NEW attitude. Have sent out a few "dear God, help me posts". Now that this has gone on longer, it has only made me more determined and more ticked. But did not want everyone to think I have not had my moments of extreme weakness. Just not going to put up with it anymore! We have ALL got…

Interesting. Bumping to find out the answer too.

I have seen this a lot on here the last few days. I, too, have been suffering with whatever the heck this is. Warning: just when you think it has past....whamo! Been about a week and things are still a little off. And yes, I too have GAINED weight. WTH?!?!?! When I first started throwing up, I sickly thought....yay!!!…

Lack of creativity for me and unsure of what else to eat. I get the same things at the store each week because they are "approved" foods (chicken, fruits/veggies). Plus, I know how much I can have of those foods each day.

I have had mine for a couple of weeks. Gives me great peace of mind to know I am not guessing on what I am burning.

I have a Polar FT7. Got it at Sears for around $100. Love it!
-
Hmmm......wondering if that is why I am struggling SOO much. I never considered it as a factor. I hope not!!! Give yourself time to recover. Things will look better when you are further out from surgery.
-
Thanks everyone! Appreciate the responses.

Bumping because I just got a FT7 and had no clue it was waterproof. Curious to see the answer.

Also, do you have a WII?? The Just Dance dvds are awesome and a lot of fun. The Just Dance for Kids is no joke either. My son can blow me away on that one.

Our portable DVD player changed my life. I have a four year old that HAS to be in the same room I am at all times. I put in a DVD for him on the main tv, put the portable DVD on the floor beside the TV, put in the 30DS or Leslie's slim down in it for me (on mute). That way, I can interact with him about what is happening…

I finally broke down and got an HRM. Before that, I was using the category "circuit training, general".

I recommend Zumba and 30 day shred. Both burn a lot in a short amount of time. Plus, Zumba is a lot more fun than hanging out on a treadmill half the day.

I am finding myself to be one of those annoying people that have a hard time getting their calories. I am set at 1210 and I have at least 30 pounds to lose. If I do not exercise, then yes, 1210 goes REALLY quick. But when we exercise (depending on which theory of thought you are part of), we get those calories we burned…

Just did day one of level three today. Still sweat and some of the stuff was killer....but I don't hurt like it did starting the other levels and did not burn as many calories. I can't do pushups to save my life....so always an issue when I have to do them.

Look damn good girl! Way to go!!!!!

For me, I really love having one. I just got it yesterday (Polar FT7) and have worked out a couple times to see what it reads. It gives me peace of mind. I know the theory about eating back your exercise calories...but was always reluctant to do so because I did not know what I was really burning. Now, I am more confident…

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. I did not read over your diary, but the things you listed are great. Everyone says they have gone through times were NOTHING was happening or, worse yet, they gained before they started losing. Love that you are keeping your hopes up. You can do this!!!
-
In same boat honey. At least you did not GAIN!!! Be proud of what you have lost. When I sent out my HELP cry, everyone told me to hang in there, watch my sodium, get in my water, eat the exercise calories, and stick with it. Sounds whacked, but you have to eat to lose. Good luck!!!

Bumping to see answers. I am a popcorn addict and eat Orville's Tender White or Simply Salted. Don't know if those are good choices or not, but taste wonderful with a ton less fat than the others. p.s....sorry about the knee.

So sweet! If I were you, I would wait a couple days to start the shred. Although, I have to say, I am on Level 2 Day 7 and it has not really killed my abs. Where I feel it most is the legs/arms/shoulders. When I started Day 1 of Level 1, I was proud of myself for getting through it (although it was ugly) and thought I was…

Is your profile pic recent? Little man looks really young (and sweet!!). You may have just pushed it too much too soon.
-
bumping to find out the answer. increased my calories two weeks ago and have now gained back all the weight I lost. I feel your pain.
-
You are a rock star girl! Keep it up!!! Very impressed since I can probably do five pushups if someone had a gun to my head.

bump. I am curious to see your responses. We eat fresh broccoli here almost every day. My little man LOVES it.
