Miller Time!

This. I zig-zag all the time with success. If I have a day where I blowout my calories, I just make it up the next day by going well under. I've done it by a week as well. The main thing I try to do is not eat junk. To eat their own.

Lol, why are people so sensitive. Ever heard of a person really into cars called a gearhead? A foreman's dream: a weak mind and strong back :)

Apparently my original post did not contain this quote I intended it to. This is what I was replying to and all the muscle heads jumped all over me.........

Burning more calories than you consume is the way the lose weight. The calories burned can come in many forms, not just lifting.
-
Not sure what you mean there. Personally, I lift for about 30 minutes per session (10-15 reps, 9 sets per muscle group) and run between 30-60 minutes five times a week. I think my strength and function are fine. It is just personal preference as to what you want your body to look like. I prefer the lean look (Mcconaughey)…

Okay, must is the incorrect wording. I just find cardio as the most efficient way to burn calories. Unless you are trying to build muscle, I see no reason to lift heavy. Yes, calorie deficient is the only way to lose weight, hence fat.
-
Either one will work. Focus on lighter weight and more reps. Cardio is a must for burning calories as well.

Sounds similar to zigzagging, which I do often. It takes a while for your body to get used to a certain amount of calories. I have at least on day a week that I have negative calorie intake due to exercise and eating.

Wow! It looks like more than 30 lost. The dimples on the legs seem to be gone as well. Good job
-
Same here. I just make up for it on another day in the current week.

I find it easier since downloading the app.

Very true. Measurements are best, even if it is just realizing that those pants fit looser than before.

Great work!
