Do a search for slope. There is a formula there that based on your bf% will give safe amounts to drop below your TDEE vs using the standard TDEE-20% or less. Good luck!!

I usually go for wine and if I'm out at a bar vs a drink at home I alternate water/drink. It's not stalled my weight loss. I just record everything. I've probably had a drink (or more) 1-2 times a month since January. I'm actually meeting an old high school friend out tonight and plan on enjoying a few drinks!! Enjoy!!

This is good advice and from other articles I've read and issues I have during long runs, I cut back on the whole wheat and higher fiber foods right before.

Geese attacked my daugther at the park when she was about 2. Luckily she had a nice big diaper on to absorb the bite before I scared them all off!! My old work used to have professionals come in with dogs to scare off the geese because they would attack us walking in to work!!!

Hi, I agree with the advice to find your TDEE based on activity and subract 20%. You are about where I was when I started. I am 5' 2" and started at 152. I am now 136. The thing I haven't seen is that if you do the TDEE-20% and and account correctly for your activity level, then you aren't looking at NET calories, which is…

This. He says he's thinking about it one day and another he'll say why don't you make me do it. I can't make you change your life...you need to decide to do it for you and I will always help!!!

I googled and kinda averaged other peoples responses. I log as circuit training and dropped the calories to 150. I weigh 137.

Another reason for the full fat is that sometimes when they take fat out they replace with sugar to help the flavor which raises the carb count. Or with items like dairy, when you remove the fat the remaining product will make the proportion of sugars higher...like in skim milk. They don't add sugar but the natural sugar…

There is such a wide range of BMR calculations. I have seen 1273 and 1361 using online calculators. A couple of weeks ago I had a Bodpod test and it estimated mine at 1133. I am moderately active working out usually 5 times a week. I had my calories set to 1560 (higher on days with larger exercise burn) for a few weeks…

I went with the Fitbit One because I didn't like the thought of a band constantly around my arm. I wear the Fitbit clipped to my bra strap and barely notice it. I wanted something that tracked my movement because I work from home in front of a computer and can be very sedentary. This shows me how active I am throughout the…

I tend to overplan a little but...here is a website I used http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningmain.cfm We are going in a couple of months and we always plan a couple of big meals and then stick to counter service for the rest. I worked out a list of places in each park that had healthy choices. I plan to have that…

I do this too and record them on my weight on my Fitbit site that then links to an account with Trendweight.com. I don't stress over the scale and know it's going to go up and down. But I like knowing the numbers and how activities and food effect me.

I just want to point out that if you are that low of bf% and keep your current lean body mass, you would have to get down under 10% bf to get to 120 lbs?? I would be estatic with 18%. My current goal is 25%.
-
From what I've read those scales can be very inaccurate but that you should watch the trend...up or down. I recently had my bf% checked by bod pod test and mine actually matches my scale. I've read that different body shapes can measure different on the scales since it goes upwards through the feet. I wouldn't rely on it,…

I was 138 last week when I had my bf% tested. Based on online bf calculators I thought my bf% was around 30% and my original goal was 125. The bod pod test showed my bf% is currently 35% and to get down to 25% I would need a goal of 118...assuming I don't lose any lbm as I continue to lose weight. I now have a goal of 25%…

I have been tempted to try My Fit Foods in The Woodlands location, but haven't. But Perfect Fit Meals are wonderful. Last night after the gym my daughter wanted Chick-fil-A. I grabbed her a meal but didn't want that for me. I came home and had a Havana Chicken with brown rice and black beans. It was great and the nurtrient…

I love almond milk. I usually drink Blue Diamond Vanilla Unsweetened. It's good on it's own or in cereal or coffee. Always use it in my protein shakes. Last week we had a road trip and I bought the silk regular vanilla because it comes in litte individual boxes and it was good but had 90 calories per cup....I'd rather…

I do this with my iced coffee. Protein powder, almond milk and chilled coffee over ice...YUMMM!!!

What great results. I've seen so many people have good results doing the 30DS that I just ordered it this week. I've been running a lot but would love to strengthen my core and increase my fat loss and so many of the pictures I've seen, including yours, show that. Great job. Keep it up!!!

You look amazing. Best of luck!!

Thank you for sharing your research. I found it very valuable. How can you tell in the grocery store where the peanuts were processed? Do many brands share that information? I've had the same problem with salmon? They may distinguish between farm and wild...but there are more choices than that? Again, thanks!

I also love PB2 and use it on toast in the morning or in a protein shake. But what I have found is that I have to be careful with measurements. It says 2 TBSP but for me when I fill an actual TBSP and weigh it...I'm at the 12g portion size (That's off the top of my head, I could be off on the grams?). That is why I weigh…
