My ideal weight is 140 pounds because I have a larger frame and I felt comfortable at that weight. I've been off-and-on dieting for several years and I'm currently the heaviest that I've ever been at 242 pounds. I've always been heavier than average due to my family's eating habits. My family loved junk food when I was…

Feel free to add me. I need to lose 80-100 pounds.

When I have time to meal prep, I usually roast veggies in the oven while prepping and cooking chicken and instant rice on the stove. I put a portion of each in a reusable, microwavable container. Other ideas are honey sriracha turkey meatballs (I use frozen meatballs), eggroll in a bowl (ground turkey or beef works too),…

Not gonna lie. I finished off some cherry pie & cool whip this morning. Good news is that its now gone and won't tempt me. Breakfast is usually wasa crackers & cheese or belvita breakfast cookies.

I've been thinking about picking this up. A few of my friends have it and they say its fun and gives them a decent workout.

2020 SW: 242 lb By 2021 GW: 210 lb Final GW: 150 lb I can't do anything too drastic until after April because I'm getting married and I really don't want to have my dress re-sized. Luckily, it has a corset back, so I could probably lose 15 lb before it became an issue. Right now, I'm working on just starting to cut back on…

I haven't gone to the gym in a few months and I really want to get back into it, but I have social anxiety and the crowds are a major issue for me right now. I know I should just grit my teeth and go anyways, but its hard.

Silk Light Vanilla Almond Milk (roughly 0.7 carbs per Tbsp.) & some Splenda works well for me.

Brussel sprouts with bacon crumbles, Veggie Lasagna, or Roasted Veggie Skewers (zuchhini, egglpant, yellow squash, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, etc.).

Marinated chicken, vermicelli and roasted cauliflower & cabbage.

Roast it in the oven with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. If you don't like it, don't worry about it. Broccoli is healthy, but so are a ton of other veggies that you'd probably like more.

There is no cure for the common cold. You can relieve some of the symptoms, but some studies show that covering up the symptoms can make a cold last even longer. Don't know how true that is though. I say if you're miserable, take your meds. Sore throat - Drink hot tea with honey. Runny Nose - Eat something spicy, like…

Agreed. Curry is really good when served over oatmeal.

I'm posting to follow this thread. I'm curious of other people's experiences with the Foodi as well. I want one and I've seen good reviews, but its always nice to hear of real people using it and what their experiences are like.

I consider it worth it for me. I work a semi-desk job (computer tech, so I sit at my desk for hours some days, and other days I run around the building like a chicken with its head cut off). I set my Fitbit to remind me to get up and move every hour while I'm at work. I'm also the type of person that likes to see charts…

I'm not expert on protein powders, but I have discovered that Aldi's Elevation Chocolate Whey Protein is surprisingly good tasting and cheap (2 lb. for $16). It dissolves really well, even in plain water. I keep a container of it and a blender bottle at work for a quick breakfast. I had looked at some "professional"…

I think I should get back into making savory oats again. My favorite is oats with hot sauce, sour cream and turkey bacon.

I have a whole box full of cookbooks (including asian & crockpot recipes). I pull them out maybe once a year. The cookbooks I use the most are the ones that local churches, VFW Auxileries, etc. put together and publish. They always have the best recipes that have been passed down through families. I just pin recipes on…

I've been on a kick with Wasa Crackers. I introduced my fiance to them about a month ago and we've went through 3 packs of them. At least they're healthy.

My depression influences my eating habits as well. I can feel my depression getting worse again, and with it, my appetite for sweets and junk food. I've been binging for the last week. I'm taking charge today and I'm not going to let myself keep doing it.

I like black teas with berry flavors. I mostly buy loose leaf teas from a local shop, but I do keep tea bags at work for when I want something sweet. Twinings Mixed Berry is my favorite. Chai teas are great too. Sadly, I can't drink them anymore because I'm allergic to cinnamon.

My family has all the main savory dishes covered. I'll probably just bring a dessert of some sort. Peanut Butter Fudge or Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies probably.

My family is very food oriented. Every occasion, even just stopping for a visit, must have food involved. My family also had really bad eating habits until I was older. We had nightly "snacks," which were plates piled high with chips, cheese, pepperoni, and olives. By the time I was old enough to know better, I already had…

I can't stay out of classic potato chips, cookies or reeses cups. I'd definitely say that those are my trigger foods, so I avoid buying them.

So, Terry Brooks was my co-worker's college roommate's dad. She has multiple signed books. I'm kinda jealous.

Medium roast with just a splash of milk and Splenda. I will drink black coffee if need be. I can't drink overly sweet coffee though.
