I eat plenty of eggs and don't have a cholesterol problem, but I sometimes skip the Pam and use the butter...much tastier, but I scramble them in the microwave with a little water to avoid adding any fat to them...fried eggs rock!!

I find it strange that some people can start threads or make comments about things that they don't like while at the same time telling other posters to NOT COMMENT ON THREADS THAT THEY DON'T LIKE...ergo the reason for so many threads and comments about not liking threads and comments, lol...uh-oh I did it again!!:noway:

   Couldn't find delete on the other post...forgot to put up the quote the first time...darn...now the super-duper-intellectuals are gonna really get me for this one!! Lol!

Good for you girl...I couldn't agree with you more and congrats on speaking out on it!!!
-
Okay that would be me, lol. I just got back on track today and hope to keep it up...haven't been on a vacation or anything, but 'life' seems to keep happening and I have been slipping up quite a bit so I'm ready to rock it out like I used to because I've gotta get fine for fall since I missed it for summer!!
-
I truly know how you feel on this as I have the same issue. I'll do great for a cpl months and then stop completely...this time has been different. I'll work out one day and have absolutely no energy the next:sad: but I'm still pushing myself every day because I'm afraid that if I 'take a break' that it will be just that…
-
Scale is still hating my guts right now but I'm slowly losing inches and seeing some muscle definition popping out in places that have been lying dormant for YEARS so not too worried but gonna try my best to work it the hell out this month - good luck DROPPERS!!! 156.4lbs
-
Oh my goodness - thank you so much, that was beautiful - straight from the heart! You are freaking awesome!!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

Glad I found this thread - I love black beans and the burgers too...gonna bookmark this page!

Wow, that is awesome and I agree with you. I have recently been battling a plateau and one day I just told myself, to hell with the scale because I hadn't taken the time to really 'look' at myself and when I did I was done weighing...I now measure and will start taking progress pics...thanks so much, btw you freaking rock!!
-
I love that, thanks!!

Good grief I am so late,:noway: sorry AGAIN!!! Goal weight for Aug 31 - 150.0 Starting weight - 154.4 Aug. 5th - 154.2 Aug 12 - Aug. 19 - Aug. 26 - Aug. 31 - Plateau seems to be going now  so hopefully I can work it out and lose some 'new weight', good luck everybody!!:smokin:
-
I certainly hope it does, I've wondered about that too and I do believe that most ppl gain back their lbs because they lost with 'diets' instead of making life changes...I think that as long as we eat more healthy and keep up some form of exercise that even as we get older if we DO happen to put on a few lbs due to older…

Is the Bodybugg/Bodymedia FIT an HRM?? I hate to sound ignorant - but I am,:ohwell: but I find your post interesting - never thought of things that way and I would like to try what you said(once I get a clearer understanding of it, I will be bookmarking this page), it sounds very reasonable so thanks!!
-
I am SO glad that someone else has experienced this...I can't say that it's just YOUR scale or that you need a new one - I told myself that in the past so I got a new one...BOTH of my scales are new, one is just a plain digital scale and the other is a digital scale that measures my water, bone, fat, etc., I can weigh…
-
Right CHEAAAAHH!! I'm adding you right now girl, you can do this...may take awhile, may not happen when you want it to, and there WILL be some trial and error involved, but as long as your mind is made up - success lies in your future...let's do this thang!!!
-
Every time I start a new exercise routine, I get a gain AND a plateau, but with patience the lbs always start to come off again so you're doing great and keep it up...gains always come when you're building muscle! I'm currently trying to break a plateau RIGHT NOW and it's happening slowly but surely...just gotta be patient…
-
I have to agree with the others about changing up the workouts...I usually use my stationary bike religiously but since dealing with an almost 2 month plateau I have since started circuit training - I still use the bike too, and it seems to be working although slowly. I realize that with weight lifting you'll get…
-
Plateau seems to be breaking although very, very slowly but at least it's breaking (((really weak yay))), 156.2:ohwell:
-
Welcome back! I believe everyone needs a break at one point and time or another whether it is to avoid burn-out or BECAUSE OF burn-out...doesn't make you a quitter, you just needed it so congrats on getting back on track...WORK IT!!!
-
Very interesting....my question is can a workout routine such as cardio/calisthenics with small breaks(20 seconds) between each move combined with weight lifting be another example of what you're talking about? I have recently changed my routine to this form of 'circuit training' ...just wondering....
-
Lol, congrats on your awesome NSV!!!
-
That was so cool, you're awesome too!!!:flowerforyou:
-
Plateau still stickin' to me:explode: changed my calorie goals and still working on it but still UP:sad: not giving up tho!! 157.2lbs
-
I sweat a LOT while working out with the ac...would drop dead without it - yay ac!!!
-
I have to agree with the above posters...I'm currently going thru a stall and have upped my calorie goal to 1500. I was having a hard time reaching that particular net - wasn't even reaching 1200 because intense workouts tend to take my appetite so today I DID NO EXERCISES, relaxed had a few drinks:laugh: and a big meal…
-
Hi...seems we have a lot in common as I'm going thru pretty much the exact same thing:explode: but I'm working on it by upping my calorie goal to 1500 and doing circuit training which consists of cardio/calisthenics combined with strength training...I've been at almost two weeks and haven't lost anything  but I'm…
-
I guess we can struggle together, lol...maybe it's just a stage in the game and sooner or later we'll get over it with a bit of trial and yes - error. I'm sending you a request...let's rock this out!!
-
155.6 - still working on the plateau! I changed up my workout routine from basically cardio to cardio and quite a bit of strength training so this gain was expected...hope the pounds start to come off soon, good luck folks, woohoo!!
