The medication in itself will make you hungry. I found that eating 6 small meals a day helped. Since the age of 14 my neck was always large because of my thyroid. Eating more protein it shrunk by 2 inches. You can definatly lose weight:)

I agree, I was on a plateau, started adding good fat to my diet, avocado and olive oil and the weight started falling off me again! I put it on my wrap instead of mayo or creamy salad dressing.

Holy molly! Are you the same person? Looking great!

That's great. Running is very challenging! I've got a long way to go to be able to do that. But I'd love to do a marathon or half one. And I use to hate running too:-) congratulation on your accomplishment.

Awesome! Much easier to work out when you don't smoke. I quit. 3 and half years ago and feel lot better. I was doing well with exercise and then hit menopose. Back at the weight loss again and doing even better

Breaking down your objective to a smaller shorter term weight lost could help. Your ultimate goal can still be to lose 100 lbs but in the shorter term it could be 50lbs. With 17 lbs lost and objective of 50 lbs you are a 3rd of the way there. Don't give up. My short term was 66 lbs however my longer term is more like 86.

I think it's not sustainable. I did the 17 day diet last year, lost 7 pounds in a few days but then not much after. I felt sick and dizzy all the time. I find, if I stick to approximately 3-4 carbs a day and exercise a bit, I lose 2-3 lbs a week.
