I had VSG March 2014, I'm struggling with the holidays, and all the junk food in the office. I had put on 3lbs over Thanksgiving and lost 2 of them. Still haven't shaken that last pound.. I am making a conscience effort though to not indulge too much in the junk that is so available..

Congrats!

Welcome! Feel free to add me. Had my sleeve surgery on 3/4/14, start weight was 230lbs, current weight is 133.5.

I had VSG 18 months ago, I've been stuck since January, no weight loss, other than the 4lbs I keep sliding up and down between. I know it's the slider foods I've been eating, stuff I know I shouldn't be eating at all... I'm trying to get back and track with that and find an exercise that I don't hate so I'll be interested…

I was told that once I lost the weight I would have to deal with lots of "unwanted" male attention. Has not happened. Not once. Honestly, I am a little disappointed (please do not misunderstand, I do NOT want to be stalked!)- it would not be so bad to every once in awhile have some guy flirt a little. But NOTHING. Zip.…

I'm 18 months out and just like capecodgirl50, I can eat just about anything except ice cream, salad, milk, bread, pasta or rice. I also tend to stay away from pork, i have a hard time digesting that. Unfortunately i do not have a problem with slider foods (like chips) so i am working on eliminating them completely.

You look AMAZING! Congratulations!!!

That's an awesome NSV!

Wow, your post hit home for me. I've been "experimenting" with slider foods and not really exercising as I should.. I've stalled since June, but really since January because I'd go back and forth with the same 5lbs. I've really got to recommit to breaking the bad habits I've let come back in, and to the 3 healthy meals and…

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. The mental aspect of this surgery is something that I don't think I understood either. May you continue your path towards peace.

I'm still between 700-900 calories a day and I haven't lost anything in months. Can't seem to restart my weight loss. I'm wondering if maybe i should up my calories to the 1200 like my NUT suggested... I'm going to follow this thread to see if it works.

Thanks so much for your inspirational story. I'm 17 months out and 10 lbs from my goal and still learning. Awesome progress and pictures!!! Amazing story!

CW: 164.4 Didn't make my GW, August was pretty much a month long stall for me..

I'm not doing well either... I'm definitely going to have to start stepping it up!

I think you responded right. If a marriage is bad to begin with, then they are going to end up divorced. My marriage had always been rocky, but I have to say that after my surgery and as I started to feel better about myself, we've both put more effort into our marriage and I think we're happier now than we've ever been.…

My surgeon recommended 10,000 mcg a day. I take 5,000 in the morning and 5,000 in the evening.

So excited for you!!! Good luck and congratulations!
