I know that staying on track can be tough. Sometimes the best things are the hardest things! Don't let yourself off the hook so easily. I don't know you but I'm sure you are worth fighting for but the only person who can fight this battle is you. Best of luck...you CAN do it:)

The only thing that keeps me sane is that eating healthier, drinking more water (which is such a struggle for me) and exercising has made this time of the month much more manageable (sorry for the "m" overload...lol).

If you are eating small but high calorie portions and drinking lots of water your body may still think it is starving. Eating out really is a killer. I know it's hard to avoid (trust me...I did it 2x this week) but the meals usually have a high sodium content which can make you retain water. Make sure you record EVERYTHING…

I'm in total agreement with you. I personally eat my exercise points because I work my tail off so I'm usually hungry. But today I was left with 340 calories remaining that I didn't eat because I wasn't hungry. I'm in weight maintenance so I try not to have too large of a deficit but at the same time the "don't eat unless…

I've got nothing for you...lol. I just wanted to say, "You go girl!" 5 kids and you're a weight losing machine!!! Very inspiring:)

I think this is probably the number one asked question...to eat the exercise points or not? I think you should eat them if you are hungry. I also think depriving yourself too much makes you more likely to fall off the wagon. That doesn't mean you should eat junk to make up the calories but healthy snacks are fine. You've…

Are you hungry? If you are hungry I'd eat some healthy snacks. If not, don't eat. I think eating back your exercise points in optional. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't depending on how hard I've worked out and how hungry I am. I don't think too huge of a deficit is good but having one isn't going to harm you. Oh and…

For myself I have a peanut butter sandwich because it has carbs and protein. Plus it's easy to take with me. Also...I must admit I LOVE peanut butter. I think it's really important to eat following a very intense workout. If you are just taking a leisurely walk I don't think eating afterward is necessary.

My personal opinion (and I'm no guru) would be to pack a few healthy snacks the night before your busy days so it's prepared. I think if you feel deprived you'll be more likely to give in to temptation. Let's face it...once you slip it can be hard to recover. I also don't think it's a huge sin to go over your calories on…

I just started using this site with the sole purpose of maintaining my weight. I wouldn't even mind gaining a few pounds. I just don't want to lose any. It seems odd but it can be just as hard to gain weight as it is to lose it! So best of luck to you in your goal.

I'm currently maintaining my weight. I just entered "Maintain" as my goal and make sure to eat all of my calories. I still exercise of course and sometimes I eat those calories and sometimes I don't. So far, so good. It's been a week and I'm at exactly the same weight!
