Thanks this is exactly what I needed to hear -I'm only human, I have no intention of starving myself or denying myself the occasional treat, I just want to get healthy. I'm usually sensible and I've come pretty far on my own, but I'm struggling now :-(

I am a bit stressed, I had a huge fight with my brother this week which could be partially responsible as I am one of these folk who does gain weight when I'm stressed. But I don't think I've been naughty enough with my diet for that kind of gain...

Thanks guys - I keep meaning to weigh myself but haven't gotten round to it, although my husband says I feel smaller. I've lost 35lbs in the last 18 months but was starting to plateau which is why I've startedto use MFP to kickstart myself again. I'm trying to get a bit closer to goal for my honeymoon which is in 8 weeks…

So it is - I'm blind today! I'm aware for what the exercise does, I have a lot of loose muscle around this area since I gave up running and squats have really helped me tighten up before :-) thanks for your help.

go you! I'm getting it out of my cabinet to start again tonight! The last time I did it I lost 5lbs (a lot for my height) but it was inches I lost - 9 in total!!! I have my honeymoon in 8 weeks so I'm going to do 2 cycles of the shred plus walking and hope it helps tone me up! Add me if you like and we can track progress…

feel free to add me also :-) I'm about half way to my goal weight after gaining 70lbs a few years ago. I'm finally back into a size 14 for the first time in 5 years! Stick with it!

I love it :-) My husband and I take a wee portion to work for lunch every day - you can get some really nice ones with flavourings or you can go for the plain one and mix it with honey nuts and berries :-) My favourite one is from ASDA :-)

that's a great achievement well done :-) My husband is really supportive so I know he's going to encourage me! I think the problem is it's just too easy to be unhealthy these days - it's actually cheaper to eat crap than hat it is to cook a proper meal!
