I used to work for a funeral home and cemetery. Without getting into too much gross detail, we had a rather large person who was found a few days after he passed. The family did not want cremation, yet could not afford an oversized casket. He stayed in a body bag the entire time, but when it came time to transfer him from…

Feel free to add me. I am restarting.

Hi, I'm Vanessa, and I am a serial starter  But really, I had a tough piece of reality yesterday when I attempted to try on jeans that fit me just 6 months ago. They were starting to get tighter then, but I just kept making excuses. On top of that I had a medical procedure done earlier this week, nothing tragic,…

I have a PF account, and I don't have a spin cinema room. There are 2 PF's in my town and neither have one. I also didn't get thet additional charges. Mine does have a 2 circuits, one for abs, and one that is traditional. The sneaky part about the PF's here is if you sign up online, like I did, the contract is for a year.…

I know there are a lot of people that do make excuses, but sometimes, there are people simply needing a different perspective. Sometimes new changes in life are overwhelming and even something as simple as finding a few moments in the day can get blocked in the brain. Benefit of the doubt. OP- I also sit for my job....12hr…

No 2 situations are ever the same. I was also married to a man child many years ago. However, like you, I am/was non confrontational. We married young, probably too young, had a child together, but I let things fester. There was a moment I remember crying to myself and he walked in wanting to talk. I told him I thought we…

Thank you for sharing your meal prep! I used to be really active about prepping my meals, but then I just got sick of doing it. I know I need to step that up, and get back at it. This is inspiring!

Vanity for me. Not gonna lie. I want to feel good in my own skin. For me, that isn't as much about losing the weight, as it is about building the confidence with where I am at each stage of weight loss. I know I will always find fault with my body. I don't like my back fat, I don't like my arms, when I was thinner, I still…

I joined in September and have enjoyed it. There are 2 in my town, and both are a pretty decent size. I have never had any issues getting to any of the equipment. I enjoy running, so most of my workouts revolve around cardio, but I also enjoy their circuit training area. My PF has a loads of cardio equipment that has…

I get this same way! I really have to take it slow, and constantly remind myself to pace myself.

While not an awesome space shot, I did have he pleasure of passing down my young astronaut club info to my son. This was a club I started when I was in fifth grade at my school. My grandfather was vice president of Harris, which is an engineering company. They build the electronics for the shuttle. My club was able to have…

I'd probably just grab a few drinks with Ricky Gervais and discuss all the cool sciencey things that will happen to the bits of earth left floating in space after humans are wiped out.

If conatining myself from bitchslapping crazy customers is a workout, then I will be doing that for 8 hours. I know...I know....I have some amazing endurance.

For me, it took a bit of planning at first. I looked through local adds each week to see what was on sale, then I planned based on that. We recently got a Fresh Thyme in town, and on Wednesday's their sales overlap. This means I am lucky enough to get double the discount on fresh produce. Banana's are cheap and you can do…

I think that professionals is a very loose term. I tend to equate this more with those in the medical field, practicing law, bankers, etc. We all have the ability to go out and get as many differing opinions as we want when it comes to speaking to professionals. For example, (and maybe a bit TMI), but my monthly was…

When my daughter was a baby, she had MSPI, so I was in the habit of reading all the labels. It was a really difficult few years because nearly everything contains some form of milk, soy, or protein. I had to learn all of the different names they could be labeled as. I eventually got the hang of it, and she eventually grew…

I've been friends with these 2 (the driver and the one in the back seat) since we were 11. This was on our way to get matching tattoos. We branded ourselves with each other's thumb prints in butterfly wings.

When I go to my doctor, I expect him to be straight up with me about health issues I may be facing. I don't want him to sugar coat or be nice. I want clear cut answers that I can understand, the pretain to why I am there. I also expect him to walk me through any questions I may have. Not everyone is like that. My…

I tried it for the first time since I was a child last year at my doTERRA Tribe Retreat. My diamond leader is big into hooping, so she brought about 40 hoops to the park where we had a big picnic, and everyone was taking turns at it. So much fun!

Yes, Disney and New Balance get together to create new shoes every year. Last year it was The Little Mermaid, The Haunted Mansion (they have bat eyes that glow in the dark), Space Mountain, Dumbo, and Mickey and Minnie get a new shoe each year as well.

Awwww they are clearly very well loved

But you're narcissistic, so it should be about you ;) :p (kidding!!!) Perhaps I did read too much into it, but I have been in the OP's shoes, and I know I would have latched onto what you said. After going through what I went through, it was scary and painful, and all of that comes flooding back when I remember all of the…
